22/05/2026: Excellent curry with freshly cooked vegetable and home cut chips. The vegetable soup was also so flavoursome. The family who run it are genuinely welcoming , to dogs and humans. I brought my two doggies after driving from Co.Cork and finding nowhere I could sit inside with my dogs on a rainy day.They were treated with love and care . I highly recommend a visit here : ) And prices are extremely fair .

The Cracked Teapot

22/10/2025: We used to go here very regularly but have been disappointed during our recent visits. Last time we ordered 2 mains and 1 side, tea for two and an orange juice. The table next to us arrived 10 mins after us and got their coffee quickly.
We then got the side and one main, no beverages. It took another 15 mins for the second main to arrive by which the other food was pretty cold. Still no beverages, which we had to ask for again and only got the tea never the juice.
It will be a while before we might give this place another go.
The atmosphere is really lovely and we're sad to leave this review.

28/10/2025: Quite a good selection. Nice cafe upstairs. Some limits: they only have SAE 30; one generator they sell wants SAE 10W30 oil (found it at Ferns Engineering).
Chainsaw files, yes; replacement chains, no.
Good range of power tools.
12/10/2025: Great spot for all your DIY and paint needs, the garden centre is also great here. Cafe shop is great too. Plenty of parking outside and also has a delivery service too. Staff are great here and very knowledgeable. There are also very friendly and helpful. This is a one stop shop for all your needs. I would highly recommend đź‘Ś. Also have santa here during the Christmas period. Deffo worth dropping in. 5 stats all day.

The staff were all lovely, if not slightly overbearing.
The food was fantastic quality, and was served promptly. The desserts we ordered were also delicious. We’ll definitely be back

17/05/2026: Stayed at Brandon House Hotel recently. The rooms were very comfortable and we had a pleasant stay overall.
The bar was just okay — for a Friday night there was very little atmosphere. There was a man playing guitar in the corner, but it still felt quiet and lacked a good vibe.
One thing that disappointed us was being approached in the bar to pay our bill about three hours after our meal, which felt unnecessary and a bit uncomfortable, almost as if we were being assumed to have left without paying.

20/02/2026: Ordered a butter chicken curry. Absolutely delicious and well seasoned. Could have been more generous with the chicken. A lot of sauce for 12 euro
28/12/2025: We really enjoyed the Indian vegetarian menu here. We shared 4 dishes between 5 of us with Nan breads. The food was full of flavor and very delicious. The female waitress was amazing and an absolute credit to the restaurant.a definite recommendation.

28/09/2025: Very very good kebab. Numero Uno w calej Irlandii. What would I change? 1. Wrap it in aluminium foil first than paper -no wet hands and soaked paper.
2. Spicy sauce should be more spicy.
3. Bigger portions.
17/09/2025: Great little place to visit for an absolutely fantastic takeaway Kabab meal, the food is hot, tender and plentyful, and great value for money, you won't be hungry afterwards, highly recommended

Should have walked out.

27/03/2026: I couldn't be more happy to have discovered this place while working in New Ross area. I came in on a Monday evening looking for food, clearly not a local but I was warmly welcomed by Sean and the whole staff. And before I knew I found myself singing Karaoke with the amazing Tina and I even made friends in there. On Tuesday I decided to go back for few pints and some work, and I didn't regret it. It was like having found my friendly neighborhood pub 250km far from home. Absolutely priceless. The fact that the pub vibe is great and the pints have an absolute reasonable price makes it a no brainer. Can't wait to be back in New Ross for another pint at Murray's. Thank you lads!

16/04/2026: Not good, chips are hard and like they have been lying around for hours.... they ALWAYS forget parts of the order, THEY ARE EXTREMELY SLOW AND NEVER DONE ON TIME. when you email to complain for being charged for food you havent recieved they never reply!!
THERE IS A MUCH NICER CHINESE ACROSS THE BRIDGE GO OVER THERE INSTEAD!!
10/04/2026: I just wanted to update everyone I don’t believe they do sit in anymore, but food was fab and fair price.
We’ve ordered a happy box 14” €23 was a lot of food for 2 people and also the duck starter which it was amazing but again a lot of food for 2 people, we’re just so used to Dublin prices that we tought it would be very small portions, highly recommend.
