24/12/2025: Really disgusted by the behaviour of who I assume is the very patronising and rude owner of this shop. I go in every Christmas Eve with my family to pick up some presents, never again. I picked up and expensive box of chocolates which I had decided to buy and was just opening the lid to show my sister (closed by a little ribbon you can slide on and off and the chocolates were still completely covered when you opened the lid) - fair enough he didn’t know I was buying them but the aggression he approached me with was unbelievable, then proceeded to follow me out of the shop shouting about not opening boxes, I guess in an attempt to embarrass me.
On arrival to the shop we had already witnessed him being condescending to his staff and patrolling the place like he was looking after the Crown Jewels.
‘In a nutshell’ he puts a shame on the other shops and businesses in New Ross.
21/12/2025: I went in today for some lunch it was spilling rain I just got this most amazing welcome a present was giving to me and I think my heart just stopped a beat just to think someone really taught I made a difference it was like I was back as a child and get that magical feeling and that’s a long time ago I will treasure it for ever thank you all Merry Christmas 🎉🎉🎉🥰🎅🏻🎄

28/10/2025: Omg the take away is getting worse. Waited nearly 2 hours on the order and then the wrong order came. I rang down and had to tell the lady working about 10 times what was missing from the order she hadnt a clue what i was saying...... absolute joke. Really gone downhill as a business......

17/05/2026: Location is easy to find. Great atmosphere, lovely food, and absolutely amazing service from a Polish lady named Beata — she was simply wonderful.
We had a few starters and sea bass (my friend Noel Robert Jenkins said it was the best sea bass of his life). I got the lasagne, which was nice too.
I definitely recommend this lovely place.

14/02/2026: Said give it a go again after many years .Wrong sauce in my duck and side portion missing and no answer to phone. Lesson learned i will not be returning
21/01/2026: We ordered 2 dinners both were watered down and it looked as if the veggies weren’t properly cooked.
Ordered veggie spring rolls, they were however not veg as there was both meat and a shrimp in the roll.
And there was a back blob in the boiled rice, I have no clue what that was.

23/10/2024: there was a hair in my sisters food, my ma's batter was hard as a rock, the garlic on mi doner kebab tasted akward, my OTHER sisters chicken was dryer than a dried up well, my nannys chicken was funky and they had vinegar in a lucozade bottle, the server was nice.

21/09/2024: We had a good breakfast after all day on the ferry to Rosslare, lovely staff, tasty dishes and drinks.
Definetly not the cheapest, but I would go again!
27/08/2024: Had the cajun chicken today which was absolutely gorgeous. The fresh fruit and seeds were a lovely touch. Was on my own but sat up at a counter and ended up having a good chat with 2 strangers. Very enjoyable experience. Will return.

21/06/2025: Place is lovely ❤️✨ Food had great presentation and taste. Was affordable. Service was great and friendly. View was lovely. They had a small playground for kids. Place was lively but not overcrowded. They had some live performance(keyboard). The place was clean. Went on a Friday around 17:00. Great for a couple/family date ❤️☺️👍🏾
26/05/2025: Lovely bar eatery, good variety on menu, relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and informative waitress. We loved our meals, fish and chips, lasagne and vegetable stir fry, followed by scrumptious desserts, an orange tart and banana sticky toffee pudding. A great experience and I will eat here again when I’m back in the area.

27/08/2025: A lovely pub in New Ross. Lovely buzz from the locals, cheap drinks and a good quality bar. The cocktails are fantastic out of here, the best in the town. The woman behind the bar (presumably the owner?) is a treasure. So friendly and accommodating.
