The Penguin was always known first and foremost for the quality of its chips, unfortunately over the past few months they are nowhere near what they were. Dry, sharp and like so many other chippers, the bags are topped up with those awful end bits that should be thrown out and not cooked. Saying that the Southern Fried chicken is absolutely delicious, the tastiest I've had anywhere.

Costa New Ross

10/01/2024: The Costa brand is Cost a lot... they should rename it, everything is expensive and not worth it: however the coffee is always hot, the staff are always pleasant and New Ross is this way too, near to Tesco so grab your lunch there🙈
22/12/2023: Our local Costa in New Ross. Great easy parking as with the Costa's in Wexford and Waterford where they're built in the parking area. Food and coffee is standard Costa fare. The baristas are quick and efficient.

29/03/2024: I can’t say enough good things about the food, customer service and prompt delivery from TJ Bella’s. After being left without a cooker or refrigerator due to a ill conscience discount direct buy furniture and appliance delivery company for weeks on end ( then an unscrupulous plumber and electrician team) TJ Bella’s delicious food, generous portions, friendly helpful staff and very fast delivery was much appreciated . Best fish and chips ever AND they’ll go the extra mile and prepare both fish and chips gluten free.
16/02/2024: Food was nice, service was good but staff could've been a bit friendlier.
