24/07/2026: Absolutely loved my visit to Ann McDonald’s Cafe! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The sandwich was so tasty and generously filled, and the coffee was one of the best I’ve had in a long time – rich, smooth, and perfectly made. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was impressively fast. It’s such a lovely, cosy place with a warm atmosphere that makes you want to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent coffee, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be visiting again!

30/07/2026: Tina hosted us at The Cracked Teapot. Our room was small but cosy, the price modest, the guest house boasts a comfortable sitting room and for once “B&B” actually included breakfast – a very good one. Our touring bikes stayed in the café overnight: our hosts could not have been more helpful. If we get back to New Ross in this life cycle we’ll be heading for The Cracked Teapot.

29/07/2026: The most delicious food - the salad bowl is divine, & you get so much for a great price. The variety in the bowl is fantastic, the flavors are so tasty & everything is homemade! The staff are incredible - hard working & friendly. I highly recommend popping in for lunch, no one will ever leave disappointed 😊

10/07/2026: Disappointing experience and rigid substitution policy Visited the restaurant at the Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience this morning. Since a full breakfast was too substantial, my companion and I both ordered the mini Irish breakfast. As I do not eat black or white pudding, I politely asked the waiter if the pudding could be substituted for either an extra sausage or an egg. I was informed that any substitution whatsoever required purchasing a "custom" breakfast, which is significantly more expensive. The server noted that management policy strictly forbids altering the standard menu items, and no manager was on-site to speak with. Ultimately, my breakfast arrived with the puddings removed as requested, but with no replacement component to balance the plate (as seen in the photo). We paid nearly €26 for two mini breakfasts. The experience left a poor impression. While the location is lovely, the food service feels geared toward a captive tourist market with an incredibly rigid approach to basic hospitality. A little flexibility regarding minor ingredient swaps would go a long way toward reflecting true Irish hospitality. I hope management considers a more guest-friendly approach in the future.

19/05/2026: Pretty much has everything you need DIY wise and home decor. Embroidery section upstairs for personified t-shirts, etc. Friendly and helpful staff, has a coffee shop too.

06/07/2026: The staff are lovely in there, the food is amazing, never waiting long for my food, the best Chinese in new Ross maybe even Wexford too, my only bone to pick: recently the spice bags seasoning has been too salty the last couple of times I ordered, hoping it changes back to the old seasoning, highly recommend though x

16/04/2026: Not good, chips are hard and like they have been lying around for hours.... they ALWAYS forget parts of the order, THEY ARE EXTREMELY SLOW AND NEVER DONE ON TIME. when you email to complain for being charged for food you havent recieved they never reply!! THERE IS A MUCH NICER CHINESE ACROSS THE BRIDGE GO OVER THERE INSTEAD!!

20/02/2026: Ordered a butter chicken curry. Absolutely delicious and well seasoned. Could have been more generous with the chicken. A lot of sauce for 12 euro

28/12/2025: We really enjoyed the Indian vegetarian menu here. We shared 4 dishes between 5 of us with Nan breads. The food was full of flavor and very delicious. The female waitress was amazing and an absolute credit to the restaurant.a definite recommendation.
