21/09/2024: We had a good breakfast after all day on the ferry to Rosslare, lovely staff, tasty dishes and drinks.
Definetly not the cheapest, but I would go again!
27/08/2024: Had the cajun chicken today which was absolutely gorgeous. The fresh fruit and seeds were a lovely touch. Was on my own but sat up at a counter and ended up having a good chat with 2 strangers. Very enjoyable experience. Will return.

27/08/2025: The heart of New Ross’ nightlife. This place offers a great selection of drinks, including a handful of good quality cocktails. Cheap enough, and a nice beer garden outside. My one complaint is that the toilets in the women’s bathroom are almost always out of order.

Should have walked out.
Horrific restaurant.

27/08/2025: A lovely pub in New Ross. Lovely buzz from the locals, cheap drinks and a good quality bar. The cocktails are fantastic out of here, the best in the town. The woman behind the bar (presumably the owner?) is a treasure. So friendly and accommodating.

25/09/2025: Extremely bad. The only Italian thing here is the music. The restrooms are dirty. The food was inedible. With only two people in the kitchen for so many guests and dishes, it was impossible.

13/11/2025: The food is not bad, But the menu is not user friendly. I ordered Kung Po sauce with Beef, without realising that they put a ton of cashew nuts in the dish....And no where on the menu does it say that.....Was actually hoping for more beef!!!!!

28/10/2025: Omg the take away is getting worse. Waited nearly 2 hours on the order and then the wrong order came. I rang down and had to tell the lady working about 10 times what was missing from the order she hadnt a clue what i was saying...... absolute joke. Really gone downhill as a business......
28/10/2025: Chicken and chip shouldn't be to hard for The Penguin, a place famous for its chips! After the 2 people in front of me complained about quality and standards, I started to get nervous. I asked "how long will it be?" and was told 10 minutes
45 minutes later I was handed my undercooked and greasy meal. I managed most of the chips as I was starving but honestly couldn't bring myself to eat the chicken. And I'm glad I trusted my instinct there because neither of the (stray) cats would touch it either.
So disappointed. "The Penquin" use to mean something.

09/11/2024: Friendly staff and good quality fast food. No frills just honest food
23/10/2024: there was a hair in my sisters food, my ma's batter was hard as a rock, the garlic on mi doner kebab tasted akward, my OTHER sisters chicken was dryer than a dried up well, my nannys chicken was funky and they had vinegar in a lucozade bottle, the server was nice.
