04/04/2026: It was everything we could have asked for. The breakfast was delicious and the the fireplace was my favorite part. Love this place.

03/02/2026: Staff were wonderful, food was really good. Rooms are a bit tired, need a revamp. Bed not very comfortable

26/04/2026: Have had the food from Mario’s a few times now and never disappoints the staff are lovely and the service is quick and the food is well priced, I’d highly highly recommend the pizzas and chicken curry chips

04/05/2026: The food was exquisite I got the pancakes with Nutella and honey they were superb but the service was not so good a had to wait nearly 20 minutes for pancakes and then when going in they said did i book they had no sign that I had to book and then they had the cheek to tell me that I had to leave by ten past eleven I was astonished and the atmosphere wasn’t that good you could nearly hear your own thoughts in there it’s good for food but not for service or atmosphere and also the table was in an awful state that we were sitting at the view from where we were sitting at was alright

21/04/2026: Can't say anything about food didn't get a chance to try but service is absolutely terrible got totally ignored had to get our own menu, sat there for 15 min staff is ignoring customers completely and they are not even busy people sitting at 3 tables. We just left. Do not recommend

11/02/2026: This women should not be aloud to work she is rude she is arrogant food is bland and flavourless (spice bag is the only good thing) she shouted at me for trying to use card she has a card machine that works but refuses to take card she called me “a dirty b”””” this place needs closing immiditally

12/01/2026: Golden Dragon, Kilmuckridge The woman behind the counter showed appalling customer service. As a regular trying to pay by card for a munch box, I was rudely told there’s a €15 minimum and it’s cash only — “you should know this by now.” On another occasion, after being charged extra for sauce, I had to walk back to my car in pouring rain. When I returned soaking wet, she had the nerve to laugh at me. This behaviour is humiliating, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. After seeing numerous bad reviews, I’m shocked this place is still allowed to operate. I will never set foot here again.
