05/02/2024: Stayed here for a few days in summer, the rooms were OK, the beds and mattresses were awful. Bed base was broken, mattresses was flat and lumpy. The breakfast they served us was so bad we had to leave and find somewhere else to eat. We had a family dinner planned we could not rearrange, they assured us the chef would be there for dinner service but the food was terrible. And the service was worse. I tried talking to the manager and he listed his work experience to me and didn't actually respond to any of my complaints. Such a shame as the location of the hotel is great.

13/01/2024: The food was like on kitchen nightmares. Rotten disgusting and I’m feeling so ill over woundt feed to a dog. The beef I got was definitely out of date and the vegetables were frozen and out of the bag from the local Aldi
