Strand Tavern in Duncannon

The Strand came highly recommended by our Airbnb host Clare from MPs at the Tissel. What a beautiful bar. Great food and service. Duncannon is walking distance from MPs Airbnb and Clare is such a thoughtful host, she gave us a lift to and from the Strand. Nachos are delicious

The food was delicious, the shrimp and fish were all fresh to order. We waited less than 10 minutes. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Food was absolutely gorgeous. We had beautiful fish and chips, seafood linguini, sole with salad and chips, goats cheese salad. Everything was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. The Staff were just lovely. It was the nicest seafood linguini I've had in years... we'll be back soon!

Booked a table for 4 last weekend when in the area after reading other great reviews. We could not fault the food, it was fresh & delicious. We shared a pot of mussels to start & mains included monkfish & prawn curry, haddock & chips and monkfish goujons. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Great spot for lunch or dinner. We didn't have a reservation, but they made room for us. I had the seafood pasta, which was delicious, and brimming with mussels, monkfish and shrimp. My husband had the fish and chips, which he said were very good. They were very busy, but we did not feel rushed, and we appreciated them fitting us in.
