Didn't have any food but it looked very good, overheard someone saying that the chowder was unreal

Lovely spot for food and a drink Deceiving from outside but loads of space inside Crab claws and prawns were delicious washed down with a lovely pint Will definitely be back Very reasonable with price for food also

Absolutely lush, nice vibe, amazing drinks, amazing prices, could sit here and chat for my whole life. Pinnacle of what a pub should be. Definitely a destination to come to. 100% amazing x People/locals are lovely

Great food 3 of us had lamb shanks it was delicious and one had fish chowder, service was really good as was the Guinness

Went to Roaches yesterday it was recommended by my son-in-law, he said that the sea food was great so being a lover of seafood we decided to have a meal there, I ordered seafood chowder to my starter and a melody of seafood for main course,, the seafood chowder was disappointing as there was only two types of fish in it smoked salmon and some sort of white fish and veg, I don’t regard smoked salmon as seafood, never did, but there was no cockles or mussels or some prawns and squid so for me it wasn’t a chowder it more like a fish soup, the main course consisted of 2 scallops 3 prawns, a piece of monkfish, a piece of hake and a piece of sea bass and chips or side salad, mains was tasty and I enjoyed it but as I said the starter let it down
