20/07/2025: To say Newbay House, Maria and the team are incredible is an understatement! We had our day on July 5th with day two in Newbay House also! We were absolutely blessed with beautiful weather which allowed for a garden ceremony and pictures and a beautiful sunny BBQ for day two! From the moment we booked our date Maria and Rachel were so incredibly helpful and friendly! No question was too much! Paul ensured our menu was exactly as we hoped for and our menu tasting was stunning! The meal on the day was absolutely delicious and also th BBQ on day two, our guests are still talking about how gorgeous it was! A huge credit to Paul and his team! Everything was amazing throughout the weekend, we could not have been looked after to a higher standard and knowing this on your special day makes it so much more enjoyable and comfortable! I really cannot thank Maria, Rachel and the team enough and will recommend Newbay House to anyone

23/06/2025: I was part of the team who organised the Midsummer Ladies Lunch in Newbay this weekend and have to say we were looked after exceptionally well by an incredible team led by Maria. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering an event here to book without hesitation. The whole team was fantastic, Maria was incredible to deal with especially when there were a lot of moving parts on the day. Rachel was also exceptional. 10/10 service

16/06/2025: The best coffee shop in town. From the horsebox in Tagoat to the current premises. Always made to feel welcome and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Highly recommend.

05/07/2025: Food ok, coffee very good, but waiting times equal to those of the post office on a strike day. They apologized several times anyway. Little attention to detail, like the dirty table so much that we had to ask why it was clean. Possible children around screaming. They accept dogs, outside and maybe inside (but only puppies).

01/07/2025: Went here as this was one of the most recommended place in Wexford, for a reason! The food here is good, the vibe is good and it’s really special. I’d say I had the best mushrooms ever here! It’s simple yet the flavor was really fresh and amazing!

14/08/2025: This restaurant was recommended to us and I have to say we did not have a good experience. Firstly the staff were lovely but the food not so good. The pork rolls were burnt and the duck stir fry was too hot to eat (not clear on the menu). The duck was so dry it was hard and not edible. Will not be back.

10/08/2025: Just had drinks at the Fleadh Cheoil and sat at they're outside restaurant, the staff were so friendly. Will definitely try a meal there 👍😁

19/08/2025: This is all about a good time and a better pint!! We arrived at the same time as a wedding party, I believe, so it was super busy, but I still really enjoyed it!!

13/08/2025: A great spot but as a woman I was invisible at the bar when waiting for drink. And this was 2 days after the Fleadh.

27/07/2025: Stopped into this cozy caffè while visiting Wexford from Dublin and had a fantastic breakfast. The lady serving us was so kind and attentive—it really made the experience special. Great food, warm atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. A perfect start to the day!

20/07/2025: We are a couple who go into this little place a lot.. I recently ordered porridge to be made for me on milk . I have to say it was made perfectly to the way I can only eat it. I got honey and fruit on the said. I mean when I say there was nothing left in my bowl.. so we would highly recommend it. The breakfast menu is over at 12oc so give urself time . . 20/08/2025: A very nice pub recommended by the staff at our accommodation, and we were pleasantly surprised. Even though it was busy on a Wednesday evening, the service was quick and efficient. The dishes and desserts were authentic and absolutely delicious, with the Guinness pairing perfectly with our meal. The locals were very friendly, and we learned that all the food is 100% homemade—nothing like the typical pub fast food we were used to. We warmly recommend this place and would be happy to return!
