06/05/2025: This is a nice spot down by the Cresent Quay. Good coffee & cakes, and the salmon sandwich I had for lunch was amazing.
25/04/2025: Really cute cafe for food in Wexford town and this place was recommended to us for food. Just order and pay at the till and sit wherever you like. French toast was nice but didn’t have enough matcha and chai latte could have had a bit more chai. Overall everything was nice and the food didn’t take long. We came just after the cafe opened. Lots of lovely pastries to choose from as well if you want something on the go.

12/05/2025: Visited last weekend with a party of 7, incl. 2 children. A fantastic atmosphere, top service and phenomenal food. The chocolate fondant to finish was the best I've ever had.
04/05/2025: Food is pretty damn good, but I would dispute the best burger in Gorey award & the fries were perfectly seasoned. Chicken/Chorizo Fusilli dish was a solid dish, just needed a touch more cheese over the top (that's being ultra nitpicky to my preferences for dishes like this).
Desserts are the one area I'd skip on my return, as I feel the desserts are the weak part of the menu, but I will definitely be back for another meal.
Overall, the experience was more than pleasantly surprising & on the whole, I was not disappointed.

20/03/2025: Came in this morning for breakfast and it was absolutely fab! Our server Dympna was very kind and attentive💕 The breakfast menu had so many gorgeous options I found it hard to choose but went with the pancakes and was stunning! My first time in this cafe and definitely won’t be my last💖
16/03/2025: Whilst visiting Wexford with a friend who lives locally we called in to Trimmers Lane cafe for some food. it was absolutely lovely. I had the burger and my friend had the Buddha bowl. the food was absolutely lovely. really clean, fresh and healthy.
the staff were super friendly too and couldn't do enough to help. and the cafe itself was lovely, well maintained and clean. I'd highly recommend TLC, If you're in the area.

29/04/2025: My husband and I had a very good meal at the Red Elephant on Tuesday 29th April. We shared the chicken satay and the tofu salad with spicy and sour dressing starters and followed up with the crispy duck pad prik and the pad thai. Portions were generous. Great cocktails, good food and excellent service.

27/03/2025: Arrive in Wexford yesterday and went to Mackens: The Cape Barr for our first drink @ 14:30’ish yesterday and stayed there until closing time last night.
The owner “Eddie” was a lovely bloke and as the bar manager “Damien” was the business, a very nice bloke who made us feel very welcome and kept the conversation flowing.
Excellent service, Very clean premises and the price of the pints were bang on.
Most certainly I’ll be back up to Wexford and looking forward to visiting The Cape again.

13/04/2025: Amazing hidden cafe within wexford town.. would never have known of this beautiful place if not for my friends status post.. very welcoming staffs always with smile and amazing range of menu to chose from.. outdoor seating with adequate warmth and ambience.. Parking will not be an issues as we have council parking very opposite to the cafe.. Do Try out ... will not dissapoint you...

21/02/2025: We had lunch in the restaurant after a fantastic morning in the spa. Couldn't fault the restaurant. The staff were so friendly and really engaging with the customers. They accommodated our food request. Several people checked on us throughout our meal which was lovely. Our orders arrived very promptly and the food was delicious. I couldn't fault it. So nice to visit a restaurant where the staff are so well trained and friendly.
19/02/2025: Had an early dinner here on our second night in Rosslare Strand. Food was excellent and we availed of the early-bird special which made it great value for money. We were pleasantly surprised that the daily specials (crab-claws to start and turbot as main) were on the early-bird menu. Drinks well priced and nice that there was a full bar service as well as wine list. Friendly and attentive staff. And place was buzzing on a Monday night. Great experience. We will be back.

11/04/2025: After a walkabout, popped into this charming little eatery. Was a busy Friday afternoon. One waiter was very busy, but very cheery. Thought I'd have to wait long for my food because of how busy it was. But food came quickly enough, and cooked to perfection. Gladly tipped for the service 10 out of 10

20/04/2025: Felt like I came straight to year 2005 in this one. Tired, old-fashioned rooms, your average leisure centre, lots of ridiculous rules that you wont find abroad (like an older teenager not allowed to jacuzzi or sauna even with a supervising adult as "this is a child"), no bathrobes in the rooms, restaurant overbooked with no priority for overnight guests. The worst was staff total lack of willingness to do anything for the guests or to ensure that the guests were comfortable.
20/04/2025: Our second time here and just like the first time wonderful staff divine food and wine 🍷 Room excellent service excellent, Would Highly Recommend

They offered us napkins and told us where the salt and vinegar was
Definitely worth a visit and good to see such a large gluten free menu
09/04/2025: Very inconsistant... Had Fish and Chips one Friday and it was good but expensive.. The following week it was inedible and for the cost, that's unacceptable.. Batter was falling of and fish like leather... Gave it a few weeks a even tried again.. Both myself and a friend were disappointed.. Different cooks seem to make a difference as well.. Would not go back.. A real shame

Cushens Pub.

22/04/2025: Very authentic place. When we were there, with live traditional Irish music. Perfect for waiting and having a pint until you catch the ferry. We didn't try the food, but it looked very good.
04/04/2025: On the way to catch the ferry to Spain. Cushen's is a cosy stop for a drink and something to eat before joining the queue at Rosslare Port.
Good food, nice bar, lovely staff. Just the job after a long drive down
