14/09/2025: We recently had our wedding at Newbay House Hotel, and words can hardly do justice to how incredible the entire experience was. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was something special and it completely exceeded our expectations in every way. The grounds and setting are absolutely stunning. The blend of old-world charm with modern elegance provides a truly magical backdrop for a wedding. Whether it's the beautiful gardens, the intimate courtyard, or the elegant interiors, every corner of the venue feels like it belongs in a fairytale. What truly set Newbay House apart, though, was the exceptional service. The team was nothing short of phenomenal — professional, warm, attentive, and completely committed to making our day perfect. No detail was too small, and their calm, organised approach meant we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. Special thanks to Maria and Rachel , who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They both are sunshine but in human form!!! The food was another highlight. Our guests are still talking about how delicious every course was — beautifully presented, locally sourced, and absolutely delicious. The chef Paul and catering staff clearly take great pride in their work. It was simply amazing! The household staff, The bar staff and the catering team – the smiles, the laughter, the good vibes! It’s so clear how much everyone loves working together. Our day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The venue’s layout also meant that guests could explore, mingle, and enjoy themselves in a relaxed and elegant environment. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. If you're considering Newbay House Hotel for your wedding, don’t hesitate it’s everything you could hope for and more. We will cherish the memories we made there forever.

The venue is full of charm and character, with beautifully kept gardens that created a stunning backdrop for the evening. Inside, the elegant ballroom atmosphere added a real sense of occasion and made the night feel truly special. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and served with care. The entire team was professional and attentive throughout. Special thanks to Maria, who made everything run so smoothly. From the early planning stages to the night of the event, she was organized, thoughtful, and always one step ahead. Her calm and professional approach really helped everything come together. Maria was a pleasure to work with and truly made the celebration feel effortless. Highly recommend Newbay House for any special occasion.

12/09/2025: Fantastic little spot, always seems busy. Menu is varied, so something for all. Service is always with a smile and it's in a garden centre so there's a freshness and a buzz about it. Very nice

05/07/2025: Food ok, coffee very good, but waiting times equal to those of the post office on a strike day. They apologized several times anyway. Little attention to detail, like the dirty table so much that we had to ask why it was clean. Possible children around screaming. They accept dogs, outside and maybe inside (but only puppies).

01/07/2025: Went here as this was one of the most recommended place in Wexford, for a reason! The food here is good, the vibe is good and it’s really special. I’d say I had the best mushrooms ever here! It’s simple yet the flavor was really fresh and amazing!

11/10/2025: Excellent café for breakfast. Staff were nice, efficient and clearly hard working. Vegan comments: - Vegan Breakfast was excellent - Had separate vegan butter and were careful to specify when serving me so I didn't need to be worried about it - Served me tea without dairy milk(a lot of places forget) Recommend for vegans looking for a big breakfast

07/10/2025: On a family trip and this was the local pub. A real homely spot and a great uncomplicated menu. We ate here a couple of times and on each evening we all really enjoyed it. Staff couldn’t do enough for the kids. Highly recommend.

09/08/2025: Disappointing lunch here on a Saturday. Food was quite nice but service wasn't great at all. Had read so many good reviews but was surprised to be met with a staff member who was borderline rude. Felt quite unwelcome and was very happy to leave.

11/10/2025: Extremely warm and welcoming environment and staff. Top notch service and one of the best meals we had while in Ireland across many counties. I can say it was the best seafood chowder I had while in Ireland.
