The Book Café and Bistro in Gorey

Lovely place, wonderful fish and chips and great customer service

So disappointed there are NO BOOKS. Had salad was ok but included tinned fruit, why not use fresh.

Havnt done a review on Book Cafe in 7 years so here i go again!.The Book Cafe remains one of my favourite Cafes in Gorey.Meeting friends for lunch or just a treat for myself i find this gorgeous Cafe to be consistantly amazing..Staff are so friendly,attentive and efficient.I love the new additions to the menu,The Acia bowls are divine,and the cakes and desserts are all yum,hard to choose....I just love this place.

Great food and very friendly staff. Would recommend the lasagna, it comes with garlic bread, salad and chips. Good value too

Breakfast here is superb... service was a little slow (it was very busy) but we were given complementary coffee's to make up. The atmosphere and surroundings here is superb... can't recommend this place enough.

Was recommended by a friend who lives local to stop in and try here next time I was in Gorey and it didn't disappoint. Food: The variety was great without being a short story of a menu. There is definitely something everyone would pick and enjoy. Cost was perfect. 2 adults lunches and 1 kids lunch for €45. Very very fairly priced and tasted amazing too. Service: Staff were very welcoming and when ordering, were very helpful and kind. I didn't really see them again after that. No check ins or taking plates away or offering of tea or coffee. It was beginning to get busy so I truly believe it was due to that. But i wasn't able to give 5 stars this time. I will happily revisit this score again when I go. Atmosphere: I loved the aesthetic, and overall comfort was great! I loved it. Definitely a great place to meet friends or family for a chat and catch up. Or like in my case, just a quick stop in for a bite to eat for lunch. I would happily go back again Overall: I would go there again and would tell people to try it if they mention they'll be in Gorey, but I will be following up to see if they have a good experience or not. Because of that I'm giving a 4/5
