14/11/2025: Really cozy pub with really nice food. Our table was by the fire place and made the evening there much better.

01/10/2025: Stopped here for dinner after visiting the Irish National Heritage Park (also wonderful!) with my mom and dad, who can be a little picky. We all really liked it and the portions were huge, making it a great value. Also the service was spot on. I really liked the haddock! Recommend checking it out for a quiet, comfortable, simply lovely experience.

09/01/2026: The Staff in Roches are absolutely rude and I will never step here in this Bar/Restaurant again. The way the manager spoke to us was disgusting and disgraceful.

05/01/2026: The food was lovely it to be charged €5 extra for chips with Lazania and fish was a bit much . Everywhere else they come with your meal .

28/09/2025: Fabulous for food. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and charming setting. Would highly recommend for vegetarians/vegans and my mum adored the seafood chowder. Looking forward to our next visit.

22/10/2025: We used to go here very regularly but have been disappointed during our recent visits. Last time we ordered 2 mains and 1 side, tea for two and an orange juice. The table next to us arrived 10 mins after us and got their coffee quickly. We then got the side and one main, no beverages. It took another 15 mins for the second main to arrive by which the other food was pretty cold. Still no beverages, which we had to ask for again and only got the tea never the juice. It will be a while before we might give this place another go. The atmosphere is really lovely and we're sad to leave this review.

27/11/2025: New review posted today on end of first review - Waiting for library to open was never as good😊popped into the red kettle - nice crowd of people coming and going, ordered pancakes, maple syrup and crispy rashers on side with a latte. All arrived hot, sweet, crunchy and delicious! Even better was the price €8.40 - wow - this has to be a go to cafe in wexford. Well done all💚 27/11/25 hi again just a review to say this place is still scrumptous, food lovely fresh and always looking good and as expected all staff are pleasant, smiling and appear to like where there at..... nothing needs to change just keep up the the great work :)

16/01/2026: We stayed a couple of days at the Riverside Park Hotel. The staff at reception were exceptional. We were greeted by two lovely ladies who were very helpful. The room was ample but fell short in cleanliness and maintenance. There were two chairs in the room that were so badly stained we couldn’t sit on them without covering them with towels. The duvet for the bed wasn’t big enough, it was about a foot too narrow but was put into a duvet cover that was bigger. The shower head was held together by electrical tape, and leaked squirting out in various directions, and there were wires covered in tape hanging from the light at the wardrobe. If a little more care was given to the maintenance and presentation of the rooms it would be much more welcoming. There was a heater in the room, but no way of adjusting when the room was cold at night. I cannot fault the staff though. They were friendly and helpful. There was filtered water available for free.

12/12/2025: Four of us had food here the other day.I really enjoyed my trio of fish.It was so fresh.The others thought the food was just ok,except the chowder which was described as poor. At the end of the night I asked the barman for a lge bottle of white lemonade.It cost €5 for a 1.25 litre.I thought this was a bit dear and he said well I can always keep it and make even more money selling dashes(I thought that was a little smart)Apart from him the staff were really nice.All the girls serving behind the bar and serving the tables were really good,made sure you were looked after and checked if you needed anything.They were also helpful in telling me about the area. Next day Because of the barman and the quality of the food we had something to eat elsewhere.While the same price,the food was much better.The place is fine for a pint and a chat with the staff(the friendly ones) but Im sorry we forked out over €200 for food and drinks when we would have gotten better nearby.

07/01/2026: Good menu, good quality food - by no means exceptional, somewhat pricey for what can only be described as pub style food in a pub style setting though not a pub ! Staff friendly and helpful, decor and furniture bit threadbare, some of the furniture could do with somewhat of a revamp or replacement !

27/10/2025: Very good cafè with a sheltered terrace on the crescent in Wexford town. Delicious cakes and pastries made on the premises accompanied by a great array of coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as soft drinks. A good people watching venue.
