The John Barry Bar

04/07/2025: A brilliant night of traditional music by excellent musicians and singers. Even the barman sang a solo that brought the pub to a standstill while he was still pouring pints.
16/06/2025: I went here on a Thursday evening with a group of about 8 from work. The pub is small and very very busy. There was a ballad session on, the atmosphere was brilliant and the Guinness was even better. We thoroughly enjoyed the night.

23/07/2025: A not so hidden gem in Wexford, on the newly christened Crown Quarter, Monke St to the rest of us.
Pint and a chat at any time during the day with proper Wexford folk. Seemingly, music is great there at night, but I personally prefer a quiet pub at night and that would be very hard in one of Wexfords most popular pubs..... I highly recommend it.

03/07/2025: First time trying Table Forty One last night and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, service was great and prices were very reasonable at €44 each for three courses. The panna cotta was amazing and tasted like a nicer/fancier version of HB's neapolitan ice-cream! Will definitely be back.
08/06/2025: A gem of a restaurant. Waiting staff are very attentive and make you feel at ease. The food is unbelievable and cooked to perfection. Look no further for value for money. Highly recommend.

20/07/2025: The best garden centre around by miles! They always have a great selection of plants, and prices are very reasonable too. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a beautiful restaurant on site which was majorly renovated & extended in recent years. Always a lovely day out at Beechdale!

Dinner and breakfast service was excellent, staff again making the experience really family friendly.

25/08/2025: What a fantastic restaurant! Definitely a must visit if you are staying in Wexford town. Staff were very friendly, the food was absolutely stunning and they was a really busy, upbeat atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back soon when I’m down in Wexford!
24/08/2025: The best seafood that I have had in Ireland. Explosion of different flavours. The staff were extremely accomodating as well. If you visit Wexford, eat here. Hake was amazing.

01/07/2025: I loved the bartender out front. He was really personable and shared a tip for where to eat the next night when the pub was closed. It took a while to be seated and then for our food to come out, but we enjoyed a beverage while we waited. Most of us ordered the special...steak and Guinness pie. It was pretty good, came with fries. I didn't know there'd be mushrooms, so I had to pull them out. The desserts were a hit as there was Pavlov and fruit, dticky pudding, and a brownie with ice cream...yum! Too bad the pub isn't open again while we are here so we could try other menu items. It is open Thurs-Sunday only.
