02/07/2025: Bit pricey. Calamari not great. Fish and chips alright. Hard to recommend. Location is the best part.

20/05/2025: The fish and chips here were really nice! I had tried another take away in Courtown too, but this one was noticeably superior. The staff were friendly too. They forgot one of my dips, but it's not a big deal and would definitely go back.

07/06/2025: Our company celebrated a 40th anniversary lunch here at the Courtyard. It was simply the most wonderful occasion. Staff were exemplary and for 57 people food arrived hot and so tasty and well presented. Special thanks to Bernie and her team. From the initial planning through to end of celebration Bernie gave us her immediate attention, in such a friendly, engaged and professional way, and was on hand throughout the occasion. The garden room is so beautiful, with a great atmosphere. It has its own bar, facilities and access to the garden. A perfect venue for many different kinds of celebrations, including weddings. Many congratulations to all at the Courtyard

02/06/2025: I visited Courtyard today evening for a pint and food during our visit in Fern. The atmosphere was really good and the place is top notch. However, when it came to food, it was really disappointing. . We ordered a pasta with bacon and chicken. The pasta was completely bland, where we felt that there is no effort put into the preparation as the pastas were left as from boiled. We informed this to the staffs and they were polite enough to understand the situation and exclude the price from the bill. Thanks to the staff for their understanding.

11/06/2025: Could not fault the lovely staff or the delicious food. The only thing we found a bit uncomfortable was the mix of live music coming from the other room, and the music playing in the dining area.

25/06/2025: Loved it! Such a beautiful setting over looking the water and peaceful. Great staff and service with a smile. Nice rooms and swimming pool and a great breakfast. Dinner was lovely in the Dock bar. Babysitters recommended by the hotel were fantastic. Highly recommend a stay here. 👌

23/06/2025: We had a lovely stay at the hotel and excellent dinner at the restaurant. The hotel is very nice, good leisure facilities, amazing restaurant for dinner and the staff was very friendly. The only thing to point out is that there is no baby changing facilities in the hotel. There is a sign on one of the toilets however the changing mat is missing. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the views from the room and restaurant are amazing.

28/05/2025: Very beautiful, I think it could be varied, a very beautiful place with a view of the sea, I asked to move to the window and they met me halfway even though there was a reservation, it costs a lot. The toilet is on the first floor or I did not understand where. Overall, for me it is 8/10, the panorama hid all the shortcomings and the cocktail was tastier than anywhere else, I really liked it, a special point for this. I don’t think I will go often, but if with a group, it will be great, I think that the menu needs to be redone for such a place, it is too simple, but the prices are much cheaper, which surprised me

09/06/2025: We stopped at Jasper’s during a day trip to Wexford and had such a lovely experience. They offer a full vegan menu, which is why we chose it, but it was the staff that truly made it special. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating — we had our dog with us, so we sat outside, and they absolutely spoiled us. I had the risotto, my partner had the vegan steak, and the brownie with sorbet for dessert — everything was delicious, but the brownie was next level. We left feeling so well taken care of. Highly recommend for both the food and the warm hospitality!

09/06/2025: Went to jaspers with my partner for bday dinner, main course fish of the day was lovely but unfortunately starter(seafood with chorizo) was really over salted and couldn’t eat it at all, so had to send it back so and cocktail Passion Fruit martini wasn’t right, no passion fruit puree some pink lemonade instead garnished with lime instead of passion fruit, far from original recipe, was disappointed with, but waiter was very polite and noted that I’m not enjoying and replaced the drink, what really destroyed my experience in jaspers was their chef Santos who started mocking me when we were leaving, making faces and saying “Me no likey “ Me no likey”, that’s unacceptable I wouldn’t hire so unprofessional staff. Will never come back, so and had ruined bday dinner.
