18/04/2026: Aldridge Lodge never disappoints with their Michelin Bib quality dinner menu. Joanne and her team always go the extra mile with homemade soup tasters and little snacks to munch on while you choose from the dinner menu. The fresh homemade breads and granola given as delightful starters at breakfast are heavenly! Service is fabulous and the rooms in the B&B are quaint and cosy. Great place for family dinner celebrations and weekend away for couples.

07/12/2025: Was in here with my boyfriend Sunday evening. Food was very good, particularly the chowder. The service unfortunately let the entire experience down, I had to ask for the wine list three times, we ordered a coffee and also had to remind the waiter for it. My partner ordered wings and was only later told they had ran out, I asked for a small modification to my main and was told no problem but it came without any changes.

25/06/2026: Great little place to visit for an absolutely fantastic takeaway Kabab meal, the food is hot, tender and plentyful, and great value for money, you won't be hungry afterwards, highly recommended.. best kebab in the town by a long shot

09/04/2026: I am still getting messages about the incredible catering from Westgate! We recently hosted an event in the area and Westgate came highly recommended. We brought home some catering and had them host a barbecue the second day. Darron was so helpful, providing menus and suggested changes to match the theme. Their staff, Anne, Stephen and Patrick, were an absolute credit -- so organized and thought of everything I had forgotten. I wish we had taken more photos, the lasagne and Caesar Salad were definite favorites. The Barbecue had a wide selection of filet steaks, chicken on skewers, grilled salmon and shrimp. Their veggie options were flavorful and so creative. The salads were incredibly tasty - a real feast! Thank you guys again for all your help, it really made our weekend that much more special!! Almost forgot to mention the pastries and coffee we got when we were in store. The pastry selection is beautiful, so many creative combos!

09/04/2026: We had our wedding at Newbay House Hotel on the 4/4/26 and it was spectacular. The house is absolutely stunning, and the bridal suite is honestly out of this world! The room for our ceremony was perfect, and the food was amazing—our guests are still raving about it. A massive thank you to the manager, Maria Power, who made everything so easy for us. She is a real asset to Newbay and made the whole experience completely stress-free. Highly recommend!

The beautiful grounds, the atmosphere, and especially The Wishing Tree - the ancient apple tree nestled in the gardens completely captured our hearts.♥️✨️ Maria and Rachel were absolute angels throughout the entire journey.😍 From the smallest details to the biggest moments, they handled everything with such care, warmth, and genuine excitement for us. Nothing ever felt like “just another wedding” — they made us feel truly special and supported every single step of the way. We honestly couldn’t have done it without them.♥️♥️ And Paul… wow. The food was beyond incredible. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had! Every bite was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with so much love and care.😋 One of the most special parts for us? This venue is perfect if you have little “furevers” in your life 🐾 Being able to include our dog in our big day meant everything to us, and the team welcomed them so warmly. It made the celebration feel even more personal and complete.♥️🐶 We are endlessly grateful to this amazing team for giving us a day filled with love, joy, and the most beautiful memories. 17/04/2026: Flory did a wonderful job for the cake I ordered for my friend’s baby shower. It was last notice and she accommodated me and executed the cake better than what I expected. She was promptly responding to my queries and was punctual with the order. I Highly recommend Flory.

16/04/2026: Worked with Flory’s bakery across borders to get a cake made and delivered in Ireland. It was so seamless and the recruitment was so happy. The best!❤️

29/05/2026: Best decadent oreo brownie with great coffee, quick and friendly service. So much effort with decoration to the finest detail. Thoroughly enjoyed - a nice treat!

24/01/2026: I adore this cafe it is gorgeous, I always come here whenever I’m in Wexford. They have great coffee and sweet treats. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

20/04/2026: We booked the old Deanery for a special birthday weekend celebration and honestly couldn't have enjoyed it more. The accommodation was excellent, every facility you could wish for, very comfortable and all our guests felt instantly relaxed. Bryanna was so friendly, helpful and flexible in helping organise and recommend various activities (including a super musician Eugene Watters) and all the catering needed 0 and firing up the sauna! The Deanery is perfect for a group of 20-25 people - with plenty to do nearby in the historic (former capital of Leinster) and the historic adjacent village of Ferns (featuring the graves of Father Murphy and the dastardly villain King Diarmait Mac Murchada!). We'll be back!

30/03/2026: Just back from celebrating my sisters hen weekend in The Old Deanery in Ferns. This was my second time staying here and it was as outstanding as ever. Each cottage is so clean, quaint, warm and full of character as is the barn. The Prosecco bar is wonderful. It is the perfect self-catering venue and everything we needed was there for us. The gardens are fabulous are ideal for groups or family trips. Nothing was a hassle for Bryanna who looked after us so well and had the sauna ready to go for us on request. I would highly recommend The Old Deanery, we will definitely be back!

07/12/2025: Amazing pub! This place was such an incredible experience, the owner Casey was very welcoming and the staff were super friendly. If you’re in Wexford and looking for a spot to have a nice pint and great conversation, you gotta check them out. The beer garden is a really nice place to hang out as well, the back is covered with murals of all the locals dogs. The live music was an awesome touch too!

22/10/2025: We used to go here very regularly but have been disappointed during our recent visits. Last time we ordered 2 mains and 1 side, tea for two and an orange juice. The table next to us arrived 10 mins after us and got their coffee quickly. We then got the side and one main, no beverages. It took another 15 mins for the second main to arrive by which the other food was pretty cold. Still no beverages, which we had to ask for again and only got the tea never the juice. It will be a while before we might give this place another go. The atmosphere is really lovely and we're sad to leave this review.
