Cloch Ban in Taghmon

Quick stop for lunch and this was a great choice. Great food, cool atmosphere and fantastic communication. Service was fast and efficient!

I have breakfast here 3/4 times a month when visiting family, some days the breakfast is really good and others not so good. Yesterday (Saturday) I had a really good breakfast I think the waitress said the chef was Carrie (apologies if I am wrong) but today (Sunday) it was just ok and nowhere as good as the day prior. This place needs to work on consistency, shouldn't really be able to tell if different chefs are working as all food should be leaving the kitchen the same. Had a peak at todays menu, the allergens numbers put down but no allergen key given, alot of allergens missing off of dishes and a couple of spelling mistakes, also and no allergens done for desserts. Overall the front of house team are lovely, its really well priced, and the food is really good when you go in and the right chef is working.

I found this absolute gem of a pub after I was going to have lunch in beechwood garden centre and nothing appealed to me. I wanted a simple gravy and chips because I had just been in hospital. It was perfect and all the staff were lovely and I was sitting there taking in this charming pub full of character

Great food, especially the choice of roast dinners. Friendly welcome. Good portions of food and freshly cooked. Been back quite a few times and going there today. Plenty of parking available.

This is a fantastic little village pub. Staff are amazing and will go above and beyond for all your needs especially Donna. I have had many family occasions here and the food is second to none. Highly recommend for any occasion and there is always great craic in the bar 👏👏
