18/08/2025: Stayed with my young family for 3 nights, our room was right above the wedding room with a wedding on 3 nights in a row the music was extremely loud which was very disappointing with a small baby to get asleep. The staff in the bar were very pleasant and in the breakfast room, the pool is lovely and a nice big family changing room. Nice walk outside the hotel on the River Slaney, Playground adjacent to the hotel. The food was very nice & good breakfast options, although busy after 8.45am.
18/08/2025: Despite being a 4-star hotel, when I checked into my room, I found the bath towels heavily stained, giving me the impression that they weren't clean.

22/04/2025: This is a gorgeous little coffee shop right in at the car park. Stopped here en route to Wexford using the nearby EV Fast Charger (50kW). Lovely friendly staff and a really delicious coffee. Nice clean toilets.

The atmosphere is warm: our server was professional, adorable, and funny at the same time. It's very good value for money. It's the best restaurant we've tried in Ireland. 23/08/2025: Honestly, this is one of the best takeaways in Ireland. Spotless kitchen, tasty food made with good quality ingredients, quick service and really friendly staff. The garlic bread with mozzarella is just amazing. Prices are very reasonable too. Thanks a million for looking after your customers so well!

wine and beer reasonably priced. however some courses over priced. it's not fine dining and youre not in dublin and while wait staff are friendly and polite they are not professionals.
interesting old building. tv takes from atmosphere.
toilets clean.
good casual dining experience if you choose wisely.
nice place to sit outside in the sun.

13/08/2025: The minute I seen boiled button mushrooms on the plate …..I knew I was on to another Bad experience……and was I right …….yep …….the sausages were bland…..the rashers were cooked on one side …..you had to pay extra for the Beans on the large breakfast and no hash brown……..the toast was half Done……and the way they look down their nose at ya…….mo people avoid this place …..if that’s the best they can Do…..god help Duncannon
