19/10/2025: I couldn't get good review from google about this place. Most food photos were lunch or breakfast. I was looking for to have dinner there. I went and gave them a try. Absolutely delicious food. Served all day. Staff working there nice ,polite and smiling. I go back there again when im around. Well done Bailey and staff 👏!!!!

25/09/2025: I visited this establishment with my son on Saturday. It wasn't crowded. Our order arrived quickly. It's inconvenient that the restroom is on the second floor.
The table was dirty and covered in hair. The photo confirms this, which slightly spoiled the experience.

I had the fish and chips and the fish was beautiful and the chicken wings were so good 😊 the decor of the lobster pot is so homely and cosy and so much to look at with all the different pictures and ornaments. Great atmosphere too. Will definitely be back 😁

23/05/2025: We had dinner here tonight for my husbands birthday. I have to say our meal, and our evening was sublime. The food was exceptional and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our night. This is a restaurant that takes pride in the food it serves. We have eaten here on a number of occasions over the years from the time it was on The Avenue in Gorey, to now, on the Main Street. The quality and inventiveness of the dishes continues to impress. The menu is based on what is freshly available in season which makes for wonderful food. We cannot recommend The Bistro enough to anyone who loves good food.

Ken the owners was very friendly and chatty and we was hoping to get back in for another drink but we only had a 2 day visit and a wedding so sadly we didn’t manage to.
