The best restaurants in Wexford

10/08/2026: I can't give a rating because we didn't get seated. We went for dinner at 8pm and it turned out the kitchen had finished 15 minutes ago. A bit strange for a holiday village. Thanks at least to the girl from the staff who told us there was a restaurant in the neighboring village.

03/08/2026: Good food, crab dishes were delicious! Great nautical themed decorations, good Guinness and friendly atmosphere. Need to book a table if eating because they don’t do walk-ins.

09/08/2026: my friends and i are OBSESSSED with the clovelly we always try to get acai bowls whenever we get the chance to you should add cards with stamps for everytime someone purchases an acai bowl it would be genius!!!!

08/08/2026: The best banana bread I have ever tasted world wide. Im 70 and I have tasted quite a few. Also great acai bowls that they will make fresh from a list of ingredients.

21/08/2026: I have known Shijo Shijo Bhaskaran since 2003, from his days with TAJ Hotels, so I knew we were in for something special when we decided to visit The Holy Grail, New Ross for our first Sadya of the year on Atham 1. Three families made the journey all the way from Dublin to experience the legendary hospitality that Shijo and his team are known for, and every mile was worth it. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. A beautifully arranged table, complete with traditional banana leaves, was waiting for us. Once seated, Shijo, his brother Shibu, and their wonderful team served each dish with care and attention. The spread was exceptional: Erissery, Olan, Kalan, Pacha Moru, Madhurakkari, Koottu Curry, Pachadi, Kichadi, Inji Curry and many more, each prepared to perfection and bursting with authentic flavour. To crown the feast, we were treated to two delicious varieties of payasam, providing the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. Despite the restaurant being full, the service remained smooth, attentive, and perfectly paced. It was truly "food for the soul." We left with our hearts and stomachs equally full, completely satisfied by the experience. A heartfelt thank you to Shijo, Shibu, and the entire Holy Grail New Ross team for your humble hospitality and outstanding service. 21/07/2026: The Old Deanery is a fantastic place to host a hen! Bryanna and her family were so easy to deal with from start to finish. They were really helpful, so organised and made sure everything was going well all weekend. The cottages were lovely, very spacious and had everything we needed. There were also great indoor and outdoor spaces for the group, with lots of thoughtful little touches. Bryanna was also a huge help in making the weekend run smoothly, putting us in touch with brilliant people for Pilates, catering and karaoke. Everything was organised perfectly and really added to the experience. I would definitely recommend The Old Deanery to anyone planning a hen party or group getaway!

21/06/2026: We booked the old Deanery cottages for my sisters hen party and we could not recommend this venue more. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with gorgeous quaint cottages perfect for hosting a hen party. There is also a fabulous barn, a wine cellar and an outside bar where we spent a lot of time! Everyone had an absolute ball especially the bride! Bryanna and her partner were so accommodating and really made the weekend so enjoyable! If you are looking for a hen party venue or a venue for a group, look no further! Thank you so much Bryanna!

20/08/2026: This is a really good cafe with very good service. 4 of us went. 2 got pancakes and bacon and 2 of us got the mini breakfast. Really good food, rashers on the pancakes might be a small bit too crispy. Portions were good. Would definitely recommend this place.
