The best restaurants in Wexford

09/06/2026: Me and my wife stopped for fish and chips before getting the evening ferry. We thought it was good all round. Food is very nicely packaged with salt, vinegar, tartare sauce, and mushy peas. Good fish, good chips.

04/06/2026: Staying overnight before boarding ferry…….we were recommended here by our accommodation and backed up via Google reviews……….they did not lie…..online order, service, quality, quantity and flavour were all exceptional….chips hot crispy and large, fish large, crispy, tasty and fresh, scampi juiced, crispy, hot and tasty. To top it all off, well packaged, tubs of tartare(Nice), lemon wedges, malt vinegar sachets forks and salt sachets…….what more could you ask for……?? Darned if I know, best we’ve had in a long time… We are from Australia and our F & C shops could learn a lot from this outstanding shop….🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻🇦🇺🇦🇺

04/04/2026: This is a fantastic little village pub. Staff are amazing and will go above and beyond for all your needs especially Donna. I have had many family occasions here and the food is second to none. Highly recommend for any occasion and there is always great craic in the bar 👏👏

05/07/2026: Would be my favourite coffee roasters in Co Wexford. Both for a perfectly brewed coffee or for their whole beans to have a great coffee at home. Needs to be available in EVERY supervalue and centra in Co Wexford not just some.

Was asked about drinks and after I enquired about a drink they never asked my partner even when he tried they walked away Didn't get dessert as the atmosphere didn't make me want to stay Maybe lunch is better for the price 🤷‍♀️

19/05/2026: Pretty much has everything you need DIY wise and home decor. Embroidery section upstairs for personified t-shirts, etc. Friendly and helpful staff, has a coffee shop too.

[Edit in response to owner's reply below]: I remember when the shop was a much smaller matter, and I suppose that when the expansion was done, insufficient care was put into the planning. This is what I mean by 'disorganised'. I don't mean to suggest that the management is disorganised, so, sorry for any misunderstanding. I'm sure you're doing the best with what you've got. As to pricing, I also don't mean to suggest that you're in any way gouging. The wholesale prices available to the major supermarkets are simply not available to you, and obviously you need to make a profit to remain open. So, all in all, my impression at the top is based on being used to shopping in the likes of Aldi which obviously have advantages of scale. You've a great shop - don't take my honest comments to heart!
