21/08/2026: It's a very nice café and restaurant. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The view is magnificent. You can see the harbor and the open sea. Simply enchanting. I'll definitely always come here for a coffee when I'm in the area.

10/07/2026: Very disappointing experience. My wife and I spent over 100 euros on dinner here, expecting a pleasant evening. Instead, I found a fly in my Chick Stirfry. I immediately called the manager to show her the problem. Rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, I was told that because we were sitting outside, the fly must have flown into my food after it was served. The situation was handled in a rude and unprofessional way. There was no apology, and I was still expected to pay for a dish I could not eat. I left with a bad mood after paying so much for a ruined dinner and being treated with such disrespect. Avoid this place if you do not want your evening spoiled. I would not recommend this restaurant based on the way this situation was handled.

24/06/2026: desperately lack ventilation I stayed here during the summer, and the rooms do not have air conditioning. To make matters worse, the window was extremely small and wouldn't open more than a hand's span, meaning there was absolutely no air circulation. If a room doesn't have AC, the windows at least need to open fully. Aside from this major issue, everything else was very good—the hotel is beautiful, the spa is excellent, and the location right by the river offers a fantastic view. They just really need to improve the room ventilation.

17/08/2026: I called in earlier with my two young daughters, Ordered food but left my wallet at home. Asked to speak to the manager, Mark came out and was more than accommodating and advised to pay on my next visit. Seen my stress and threw in 2 drinks for the girls. You don’t meet people like this anymore. The food was amazing. Will definitely be back. Hopefully with my wallet.😂

18/06/2026: I ordered Mi street food a few times. The food was ok. Today I got the kimchi beef stir fry. It was so watery and unappetising looking. There was a few pieces of cabbage, and zero kimchi ( as opposed to the name) I hope the quality can be improved in the future.

11/08/2026: The food was excellent hot and tasty, service was great friendly and helpful The Sorrento quarter pounder very tasty, the curry cheesy chips one of the best I have had in a while and the chefs pizza very nice, will be back when in Bunclody again well worth the visit.

10/08/2026: Five stars all around. Popped in for late lunch / early dinner for a family of four this evening and we were greeting by friendly staff and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food was delicious - the menu is extensive, including lots of gluten free and vegan options and great mocktails. Highly recommend the open house chicken burger!

19/07/2026: Unfortunately this place is not a Greek restaurant anymore… The quality of food is still good. But the menu has changed completely, it’s a typical Irish restaurant with burgers and fish chips you can find them everywhere… People need something different something new and now is gone…At least the people that are working there still the same Aisling, George and Jonny are the best!!!

05/07/2026: We’ve really been enjoying the new dog-friendly pizza area out the back of the restaurant. It’s covered and heated, and even though we were the only people out there at the time the staff could not have been more attentive. They even made sure we knew the pub is also dog friendly so we could move in there after our food. The pizza is very nice, and there’s a great selection of drinks!

24/08/2026: I have to say, I think this is the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had, so far. The food is always consistent also. Pity the tubs of curry sauce aren't bigger though 😁

06/07/2026: The staff are lovely in there, the food is amazing, never waiting long for my food, the best Chinese in new Ross maybe even Wexford too, my only bone to pick: recently the spice bags seasoning has been too salty the last couple of times I ordered, hoping it changes back to the old seasoning, highly recommend though x

11/08/2026: What can I say. We were looking for somewhere to have dinner on a Wednesday night in Fethard. Having walked the length of the high street we stumbled on The Wheelhouse. From the outside I wasn't expecting the excellent food and service we got. C had a Mackerel salad and I had the Nut Roast about which I am very picky but it was superb. When we return next year we will be back for dinner. Back again for dinner after a long drive Still superb

05/08/2026: Frozen fish, still cold inside, the shrimps were the same. I haven’t eaten worse food in a long time.

19/01/2026: This place is a must visit spot for anyone seeking a great night. Service is prompt friendly and efficient and the staff are just top quality, as for the drink itself i can only say the pints are best around.
