28/07/2026: Wondered into Joanne's by chance during an outing in Gorey. Delicious sandwiches, yummy desserts and a terrific staff. Oh, and the prices! Two sandwiches, two desserts for only 16 euro, plus a free bread for spending over 15.

09/07/2026: No stars for any of it use to love going here so went back after not been in it for a long time me my mam and daughter in law we had chicken panini that we couldn't eat the chicken was so tuff we left our food said it upon paying and all we got was a sorry nothing else not a mention of giving money off etc definitely wont be back ever again only putting one star because wont post without hitting one

31/05/2026: A lovely place, tradtional pub setting. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Very clean, spotless I would say, including bathrooms. Fantastic food and a good choice on the menu. Staff very friendly. Food is fantastic. I had a beef dinner, nice portion of food, no mean servings here and piping hot, no cold food here. My wife had the chicken curry, gorgeous, she would have liked a little more rice but a small complaint really. She also had a couple of pints of Heineken, they looked gorgeous and she said they were lovely. Kids meals very good. My son with autism had roast beef (half portion) chips and gravy, he loved it and hoovered it up. The small kids had chicken goujons and chips and sausages and chips, both really good meals and everyone very happy going home. My only regret was I couldn't try a pint of Guinness, they looked like mothers milk.

21/08/2026: The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The beef fried rice was especially good—the beef was tender, juicy, and full of flavour. We were just passing through by car, and the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. As we only needed a simple place to have our meal, the owner kindly provided us with a small table and even thoughtfully offered us some hot water. It was such a warm and considerate gesture. The restaurant is conveniently located just a short drive from Rosslare Harbour, right along the roadside. There is plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant, which makes it very convenient for anyone travelling by car. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through Rosslare Harbour!

31/07/2026: Stopped in as we were recommended this place from the owner of Hazel Tree Lodge where we’re staying. The chicken vindaloo was fantastic and the perfect amount of spice. My partner had the tempura prawns and he was pleasantly surprised by the size and freshness of them. Highly recommend if visiting Bunclody.

21/07/2026: Lovely restaurant but avoid seats down the steps, impossible to chat. Lovely staff, food is lovely but both pizzas were over cooked with burnt crusts. Brusetta is the best you can eat.

14/07/2026: Went for dinner, absolutely amazing service. Seated 2 people very quickly especially considering how busy it was ! Starters came out quick after ordering and was absolutely stunning haven't tasted tomato's so fresh 😋! Mains were also fast to arrive, and perfect, had the roast duck and the shrimp pasta, both beautifully cooked. Finished off with two beautiful Creme Brules Overall had an amazing time and will definitely be going again !!

Great location for lunch or a coffee, coffee on the balcony overlooking the river barrow is my favourite spot in New Ross to sit, chill and enjoy a coffee! I'll definitely be back again every time I'm down in New Ross. Little tip, if you like chowder, order it here!
