The best restaurants in Wexford

28/09/2025: Visited Toss Byrne’s bar couple of times recently. Love the ‘4 for a score’ 🤪 great value great atmosphere Declan the barman on the ball attentive and friendly wish I could find a bar like this in Dublin. Recommend 100%👍 Best wishes and will return soon

08/10/2025: Very suprised dont normally stay at B&B The room was big very comfortiable warm Clean had tea coffee and bisciuts in the room on suite bathroom warm towels great shower .Breakfast full Irish had loads could not finished it Staff very friendly and helpful 5min from port Had a lovely stay will be back

06/10/2025: Stayed at the ferry port for 3 nights, rooms are very cosy and comfortable. The staff were extra friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Sue who was super accommodating to ensure I had a good stay and felt at home.

31/10/2025: Went to the Crown having been before for food and enjoyed it. This time however was not a good experience. Got a chicken burger & chips, friend got fish & chips. The burger could quite happily have a second career as a hockey puck, burnt and hard! Fish inedible, chips limp and soggy. Given we were starving and going to a concert we just sent back the fish dish. I had already cut the burnt outside off the burger. Very disappointed. Staff were helpful and offered to get us something else.

25/10/2025: We visited this place with a large group and had an amazing experience. It's a massive, atmospheric location with several different venues and a beautiful, colorful fireplace that creates a wonderful vibe. A special thank you to the responsive staff who even helped us take a group photo – a really nice touch! We loved the flexibility of sitting both inside and outside. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly. The place offers a lot of events and live music, adding to the great atmosphere. While prices are slightly above average, it's absolutely worth it. You're paying for the fantastic mood, comfort, and overall excellent experience. We can't wait to come back!

22/09/2025: We went to Vine Thai Restaurant for my mother-in-law’s birthday with a group of 12, and we were really impressed. The staff were amazing friendly, attentive, and the service was excellent throughout. It was also nice to see David there, making sure everything was running smoothly. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the evening was a great success. Thank you for a lovely night!

12/10/2025: I was just here and I ordered some chips and curry sauce and the worker was very rude and then I got barley any chips as you can see in the picture so I will definitely not be coming back here

09/10/2025: The food here is good... but has has become quite expensive in the last months. A Cod and Chips with a small can of Coke is €19.90 . It's a lot for this meal in my opinion. The place is nice yes, but not good value like before. Just my opinion.

28/09/2025: Could not believe how rude 2 staff members were before we even entered the cafe we were greeted by one very rude waitress who clearly didn't want our business as she was bluntly telling us breakfast was finished at 12 and it will be 20 min before lunch can be ordered while she was rudely telling us thhis another waitress interrupted in a loud frustrated voice shouting out the menu i couldn't believe how rude 2 people could be to a family with small kids standing at the door of the cafe unbelievable. Ill be letting anyone i speak to know how ignorant this place is. If you want a decent lunch or breakfast go to Joanne's on the main street in gorey

The pub has a very pleasant terrace and games like darts and billiards, but what really makes the difference is Arlo's service; a charming, friendly, and approachable person. It's a pleasure to find places like this, with such a great atmosphere and service. Highly recommended, worth a visit just to experience it.

04/10/2025: Incredible experience. Hospitality and good service. Without exaggeration, the best pub I've been to in Ireland. Perfect for a good time. The owner is charming, one of those people it's a pleasure to meet in life.

11/12/2025: Had a lovely evening here with a friend. Asked for a cocktail recommendation and this did not disappoint. Food was delicious, large portions. Would definitely recommend

07/12/2025: Came in at 7pm, Seafood chowder was really nice, service was a bit slow considering it was busy but understandable.

13/10/2025: We came here based on the reviews, and they weren't wrong. A very cute, pretty, clean restaurant with excellent Irish food. Everything was delicious, and the price was reasonable for Ireland. The waitress was quite friendly considering the workload she had. I think they needed more staff on duty to take orders. The owner was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

05/10/2025: Decently priced but stick to the usual pub food (burgers, goujons etc.) - the chicken curry was very disappointing, with mushy rice, watery sauce and poppadoms dips that really tasted off.

04/09/2025: We came for lunch and ordered 3 cappuccinos, a hot chocolate and 3 dishes. It took almost 15 mins to get our coffee, which was cold. Our food took forever to come and when it came only 2/3 dishes arrived at the same time. The açai bowl took another 7 or 8 minutes but that was then taken off our bill due to the inconvenience. The tables around is were not cleared for the hour we sat there and the table we got was not wiped before we were seated. Food was okay

30/08/2025: We just left, 4 of os went for a lunch, my warm goat cheese salad was amazing im fussy about food as Im working i hospitality but quality and size was just amazing, French toast perfect, pure gold-amazing, plus my daughter was able to add as much of syrop and bacon as she wish instead have everything plated, soup and toasties sandwich perfect same as bacon and chicken sandwich with plenty of side salad and crisps, our requirements for no mayo wasnt forgot 😍 highly recommended place 🤩
