16/11/2024: I feel very sorry to be writing this review but I don't know what went wrong maybe it was super busy when we ordered or something else but the food we received was not good at all .. the potatoes were so plain and lacked taste altogether, very dry. The pizza desperately needs more of that amazing tomatoe sauce I tasted in Italy! We got a tagliatelle pasta to share and it left me feeling very sick, I noticed a piece of chicken barely cooked but it's bumpy skin still on... it was absolutely disgusting and pink! I was so shocked with the food after reading such amazing reviews and even hearing the restaurant has awards. The pasta was extremely disappointing, desperately needs more sauce more flavour the mushrooms were barely cooked and the chicken was a disaster. I am terrible sorry to be writing this as I adore Italy and everything Italian. We paid €42 euro for our meal and we are left pretty upset. We've been to Italy. This wasn't Italian food.

30/10/2024: A great spot for a Guinness served up by a very interesting and qualified bartender on Mondays and Tuesdays. Better hurry though because she's definitely going places

19/11/2024: Dixie's is a credit to Wexford Town. I have been in and out over 30 years. Dixie and Noleen are simply the nicest couple running a bar in Wexford. I could not recommend coming to Wexford without having a pint and a chat with Dixie.

07/09/2024: Worst experience of my life, came here on thursday the 29/09 , we were three adults and a new born baby , the manager seated us and left and forgot about us, and came back to apologise , after waiting 20 mins for menus, we then ordered something cheap and cheerful, I got the chicken ciabatta and my partner and mother got the chowder, the chowder was dosed in veg bouillon , and my the ciabatta wasn’t toasted it was like someone got it and put It in a bag and boiled it, the service was outrageous the manager then took our drinks order and it was a cocoa cola and two small guinesses , we waited 2 mins for the cola and 20’mins for the Guinness , and when we got the guinness it was cloudy and not drawn at all properly, I would never recommend this place due to the manager , and his staff, and food . Only good thing about the place was the customers who faked to have a good experience

18/09/2024: Dropped in on our way to the ferry. Very warm welcome and when we said we didnt have much time they brought our food and drink very quickly. Atmosphere was nice and the food good.

19/12/2024: Absolutely disgusted I got two taco fires two cans of coke and an extra taco sauce the price was not justified for what we got I am absolutely appalled of how the food tasted and looked will not be going back again

09/11/2024: Second time ordering from here. Pizza last week was ok. Partner got kebab wasn’t impressed. Ordered a pizza for delivery today, not cooked properly and cheese was all over the box. At 13 euro for pizza and 7 euro delivery definitely wasn’t worth it. Half of pizza went in the bin

05/09/2024: Manager nowhere to be seen for the first hour of us being there, drinks order was confused by bar staff (overwhelmed and busy) had abiut four different waitresses looking after us all very busy but genuinely lovely and nice, must have been a mix up with the kitchen as wrong food order was brought out to out table, was then fixed on the tills. Manager finally shows up after hiding for almost two hours to help the floor staff. Food was grand had a fish special but chips were rock hard and it needed something tart to bring the dish all together. The staff were very apologetic and patient although it was bery busy and they seemed short staffed/unorganised it felt like the communication within the crew was a little off. The interior is pretty nice amd the beer garden is amazingly decorated and spacious. The place would be ten out of ten if the staff were looked after properly there was only one food runner and we could hear the chefs ringing the bell while he was running food with nobody stepping in on time.
