The best restaurants in Wexford

19/05/2025: Super good, one of the best places to eat on our trip. The service was incredible, attentive, fast, friendly, and correct. I also want to highlight the prices, better than in Dublin, with typical Irish food, both in quantity and quality. The downstairs is a small supermarket with takeout, and upstairs is the restaurant, a cozy and charming place.

06/07/2025: This is such a fabulous restaurant. The food, ambience, service, everything was just perfect. We loved it and will definitely be back. We will go out of our way to be back at Casa d'Galo.

06/09/2025: I love being on the town with my family and they ask if we should pop in to Joanne's for a coffee and a bun. The answer is always YES!

25/11/2025: Went to a table quiz in the function room for the samaritans which was well attended with a good raffle during the quiz... the landlord provided some great food for us which was a nice surprise. All round good evening and the pub is very well presented and looked after. One of my friends said the food menu is good in the pub so I will be back to sample this soon

23/11/2025: Had a great one night stay for a party in their function room. Had a meal in the bar on arrival which was lovely, with very well chilled Bulmers. Lady who checked us in was really lovely, all staff were very friendly and welcoming. Function room was great with food laid on and a well staffed bar. The owner joined us and we all had a great time well into the early hours such a great time and highly recommended as the location is perfect for all the shops. PS our room was very clean and massive, perfect.

30/11/2025: My companions were happy enough. I was less so. I was not a great fan of the steak given the price. The service seemed a little brusque.

22/10/2025: After taking this ferry dozens of times, i decided on paying the extra for club class this trip. Definitely worth it - you'll pay that amount on a coffee and a snack anyway, and it's great having more room and excellent WiFi.

09/10/2025: It was a pleasant trip with extremely friendly staff. Everything went smoothly.

27/07/2025: We didn't stay here but reserved the dining room for a family party. Imelda was fantastic and made the everything so easy to arrange. She organized finger food to be brought out for us and it was so tasty and so much! All the staff were super and so friendly too. Thanks for a great day, would definitely recommend.

06/11/2025: Dined here three years ago and still an excellent restaurant.Large and varied menu. Food far superior to any asian takeaway in Wexford town in my opinion.Has won several awards as best World food restaurant in Leinster. A gem of a restaurant in the Town. We'll worth five stars. Service quick and friendly.

01/09/2025: This Restirant is as good as it gets cant wait to go back next week food quality and the taste way above any other Chinese restaurant I have being in slightly more expensive than some but as they say you pay for what u get in this case that's true you won't be disappointed

24/08/2025: I always enjoy going there and often get stuck in the atmosphere, the company, and there's billiards, darts, and live music, and there's usually a concert!

16/11/2025: Fantastic pub and the team behind the bar with a good mix of youth and experience especially when me And my partner were in and a young man behind the bar with glasses was very helpful and considering we weren't from wexford he advised and served with a smile and their food yard is to die for
