13/12/2025: Ordered Pepper Chicken and jasmine rice through just eat for delivery, Arrived in time frame on delivery,was hot but thats where the positives end,it was not a nice dish..chicken tasted like it had been boiled for hours,dry and tastless,very disappointed.

24/11/2025: Passing through Gorey I found this great little place on the map....food excellent, staff very welcoming and a funky atmosphere..highly recommended if you love Asian Fusion food..The Tofu stir fry was spot on! Well worth a visit 👌👍

01/01/2026: The Wheelhouse Café is a lovely place to stop after visiting the castle. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it feels very relaxed and friendly. The coffee was excellent and the food was fresh and tasty, perfect for a break after walking around. The staff were kind and attentive, which really adds to the experience. It’s a great little café in a beautiful location, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

09/12/2025: Yes, this is also a tackle store and Garden centre, but the café is GREAT! The toasted sandwiches were HOT as was the carrot and sweet potato soup of the day. As HOT as they were, they were just as tasty!

02/11/2025: Attracted by the menu we found online and as a recommended place to eat from our B&B, we went there. But they told us they don't prepare the food, when online you can find photos of ready-made dishes and even the menu. We were disappointed. Update the online pages to avoid these inconveniences for customers.

24/10/2025: Absolute gem of a pub had a great weekend couldn't have been more accommodating the staff are brilliant and dave is a little charmer would have no problem recommending to anyone thats going to be in the area

24/08/2025: Great pub normally. Ruined this time by a total lack of respect for the smoking ban. Lads Vaping all over the pub, it got so bad you could see the smoke hanging in the air . Whoever the owner is should be ashamed . I won’t be going back until this problem is acknowledged. So sorry for saying but it just shows a that the boss doesn’t care about his customers? Katarzyna 😢

17/04/2025: Don't often review places but we were that impressed. Impromptu stopover in the camper, with young family, before an early ferry. Friendly welcome, very accommodating and excellent food. Highly recommend!

18/01/2026: Great, beautiful course. Lovely to play. As a member though, it’s a competition course; comps every single day which makes it’s all but useless for many months of the year if you just want to play casual rounds as it’s so backed up or just difficult to book. I won’t renew my membership due to the difficulty finding playing slots but I’ll play the course occasionally. Staff are nice. Great facilities.

28/09/2025: The prodigal returned after forty years away.Played at Wexford as a youth. Unfortunately I didn't have time to play.It has developed into a fine golf course with a modern club...one any member should be pleased to be associated. Good panoramic views of course from the club house. Enjoy!!.. Wexford golfers and those of other fields.

03/09/2025: We had our wedding recently on Friday 29th August 2025 at The Upton Court Hotel. Thank you so much for helping John and I have the most magical wedding day. We are so grateful for your professionalism and the warm, friendly atmosphere you created for our guests and us. Shane and Beverley, you both were incredible during the planning process right up to the big day itself. You both were always so professional, quick to reply and friendly. Both Shane and Beverley went above and beyond for us to ensure we had the best day. Shane checked we were ok and that everything was the way we wanted on the day numerous times too, which was really appreciated! The staff at the hotel were lovely and ensured everyone was looked after. The food was absolutely amazing!! There was also no problem at all in facilitating those with dietary requirements. The teamwork of the hotel made everything feel effortless for us, allowing us to enjoy every second! There was plenty of space for our cake, selfie mirror, band and dancing!! The bridal room was beautiful and spacious with a double jacuzzi bath. The amount of compliments we received about the hotel, food and staff have been unbelievable! We also got some beautiful photos at Wells House which is only a short drive from the hotel. The house and grounds are stunning and make the most amazing backdrop for photos! 27/07/2025: We didn't stay here but reserved the dining room for a family party. Imelda was fantastic and made the everything so easy to arrange. She organized finger food to be brought out for us and it was so tasty and so much! All the staff were super and so friendly too. Thanks for a great day, would definitely recommend.
