25/07/2026: Last hour of the kitchen being open Friday evening. They asked if weβd mind to eat at the outside bar instead of takeaway which ultimately made sense with dough and the number of T/A orders vs Walkins/bookings at that time of night and the busy season I can understand why they do that. Pizza was amazing no complaints from 5 pizza snobs and nice to feel like you got what you paid for quality and care wise, very satisfied. Great location would go again when back in Wexford. 13/07/2026: I suppose I could say what everyone else would say that it was a lovley place with great staff and mention its great menu and outstanding food etc but I'm sorry I'll just have to agree with everyone else ,it was a really smashing place and would recommend it whenever your in this part of Ireland...just brilliant.
07/07/2026: Really unpleasant microwaved sausages in a supposedly Yorkshire Pudding. Sloppy vegetables, far too much mash, okay sausages. Avoid.

The Bunker Bar

Following on from that had a most successful & enjoyable rally there.
04/07/2026: We had a fantastic trip to the Bunker Bar. A gem of a bar off the beaten track. We'll be back again the next time we go to Wexford.

09/06/2026: Great location in Gorey, and as a base for trips around Wexford. Just minutes from Courtown Harbour. Nice big room, water, tea and coffee in the room, third time visiting, nice pool, would come back, A+
10/05/2026: I had a fabulous stay recently with my mam and my daughter.We were spoiled from the moment we arrived with an upgrade,fabulous food and dancing with a live band and the most amazing treatments in Asha Spa(Highly recommended!)and all the staff were lovely.We love it here as it has everything we need for the whole family to enyoy!Thanks

19/08/2026: Very busy spot during the summer season, with long queues and lots of people waiting for food. Years ago, I remember that this place was really popular and you could see and smell food everywhere, with people coming in to grab something to eat.
We stopped here looking for fish and chips, as it seemed like the kind of place that should have them on the menu. We did find them, but the queue was so long that we decided to drive about 7 minutes further instead.
To be fair, we were probably right to do so, as we didnβt want to spend so much time waiting. It may be a different experience outside the busy summer season, but during our visit it was extremely crowded.
Hopefully weβll come back another time when itβs a bit quieter and actually get the chance to try the food. π
07/08/2026: Right beside the beach, a lovely little coffee shop to get a coffee and a croissant after a morning swim. Excellent coffee, friendly service. Can imagine its gets busy later in the day as more people head to the beach. Seating area is shaded and feels a bit dark during the morning.

03/07/2026: Had an incredible meal here. Wonderful authentic Southern Indian cuisine - great chat with the lovely waiter from Kerala, who said the chef is also from Kerala. Perfect night out for a birthday dinner !

They let me stay for 3 hours and charge my electronics before heading into the Wicklow mountains. Such a friendly staff and locals that spent the time chatting with me. Thank you so much.
