29/10/2025: Walked in then walked straight back out the second I walked in the whole pub including staff just stopped and looked at me as I was looking for a seat they were still looking at me It was strange it was like going into a house full of slack jaw yokels Terrible atmosphere They were shocked someone walked into the pub it was like I was trespassing

26/10/2025: Came to Gorey to see where my grandparents were born and used to live. Within minutes of being in here we were given details of the local historian and approached by locals who offered information they thought would be helpful. Absolutely fantastic. Lovely locals and a great pint. Will be going back before we go home.

02/11/2025: Attracted by the menu we found online and as a recommended place to eat from our B&B, we went there. But they told us they don't prepare the food, when online you can find photos of ready-made dishes and even the menu. We were disappointed. Update the online pages to avoid these inconveniences for customers.

24/10/2025: Absolute gem of a pub had a great weekend couldn't have been more accommodating the staff are brilliant and dave is a little charmer would have no problem recommending to anyone thats going to be in the area

19/08/2025: We had one great night at the fleadh in this pub. However, on hhe second night we complained about the quality of the pints ( a new keg had been opened). We asked for new pints, which we were given. Then the barman tried to charge us for both sets of pints. We argued about the quality of our drink with the person in charge to no avail and unfortunately we left the pub feeling very unsatisfied. I just felt it was very bad customer service.

12/08/2025: Managed to squeeze in for two sessions during the Fleadh. Absolutely magic, amazing talent on both days. Unfailingly polite security staff. Good cold beer. Highly recommended.

13/08/2025: The best toasted sandwich I ever had. Busy but very efficient system of ordering your food. Staff very helpful, waited to serve our tea until the toastie was ready.

27/07/2025: What a chipper. I must say, absolutely astonishing. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, absolutely breathtaking. To begin, the chicken fillet burger that I consumed was second to none. Pure, real, juicy chicken breast sandwiched in two plump burger buns, along with all of the toppings, quite impressive how they managed to create such an incredible taste. Moving on to the atmosphere, pure joy and love in the building. I could not have felt any more at home when I stepped foot into fratellis, surrounded by the love and care of such incredible people. Lastly, the service; 10/10. The workers were incredibly helpful, especially young Alberto behind the counter who took my order and made my food, what a hard working, generous and kind man. All in all, what I’d like to say is fratellis is a must visit chipper in gorey town, best around. 🥰😁👍

28/03/2026: Yeah so basicly i tried getting a refund thru costumer support services but unsuccesfully, i found plastic bits on my triple burger and on big mac, once i was given an old apple pie(which i didint enjoy), costumer support didint care, ofcourse why should millions worth company care about it,

27/03/2026: I couldn't be more happy to have discovered this place while working in New Ross area. I came in on a Monday evening looking for food, clearly not a local but I was warmly welcomed by Sean and the whole staff. And before I knew I found myself singing Karaoke with the amazing Tina and I even made friends in there. On Tuesday I decided to go back for few pints and some work, and I didn't regret it. It was like having found my friendly neighborhood pub 250km far from home. Absolutely priceless. The fact that the pub vibe is great and the pints have an absolute reasonable price makes it a no brainer. Can't wait to be back in New Ross for another pint at Murray's. Thank you lads!

02/02/2026: We had our wedding reception at the Upton Court Hotel 21/01/2026, and from start to finish the experience was absolutely amazing. Shane and all of the staff were incredible, so professional, kind, and attentive throughout the entire process. All dietary requirements were catered for without any fuss, and the food was outstanding, with many compliments from our guests. The guest rooms were nice and very comfortable, again receiving lots of positive feedback. From the moment of arrival, there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel that put everyone at ease. A very special thank you to Shane for all of his support, guidance, and attention to detail, nothing was ever too much trouble, and it truly made our day stress-free and unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend Upton Court Hotel highly enough. Joseph & Anastasia
