23/08/2025: I honestly cant fault Shore. Super friendly staff & owners. Absolutely delicious coffee,acai bowls,porridge, sausage rolls,smoothies,milkshakes,baked goods and more. Always bring my coffee & food to the garden with my baby girl where I enjoy taking in the atmosphere & music before setting off on our walk in the beautiful surroundings of the beach & forest. All my family highly recommend Shore as they always go above and beyond.

27/07/2025: What a chipper. I must say, absolutely astonishing. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, absolutely breathtaking. To begin, the chicken fillet burger that I consumed was second to none. Pure, real, juicy chicken breast sandwiched in two plump burger buns, along with all of the toppings, quite impressive how they managed to create such an incredible taste. Moving on to the atmosphere, pure joy and love in the building. I could not have felt any more at home when I stepped foot into fratellis, surrounded by the love and care of such incredible people. Lastly, the service; 10/10. The workers were incredibly helpful, especially young Alberto behind the counter who took my order and made my food, what a hard working, generous and kind man. All in all, what I’d like to say is fratellis is a must visit chipper in gorey town, best around. 🥰😁👍

11/09/2024: **addendum** Like the owner says (and must have complained to remove my legitimate review, which was admittedly some time ago, so perhaps they've changed), the type of reimagined Mexican food you get in the states isn't authentic, nor does it claim to be, but when you're getting massive portions at a truck stop a couple hundred miles from Mexico, cooked by 3 generations of Mexican women, and eaten by Mexican truckers, you can be pretty sure the stuff is decent. Plus, you're 99% of the time going to get even more flavorful dishes in the origin country, and good US-Mex is already incredibly tasty, while I just couldn't say the same for what we had here. So while the owner may well be serving authentic Mexican dishes with pomegranate bits, it's just not something I'd go back for, and again, certainly not at this price and more so keeping in mind that Mexico is far from a rich nation with expensive dishes with a pretentious flair. All the same, I wish them the best and hope other patrons do enjoy their food. **/addendum** It was okay. Not 'authentic', based on my growing up in the US (Tex-Mex, Cali-Mex), so perhaps there are parts of Mexico that have food like this, but I kinda doubt it. It's more Mexican reimagined. Even considering tax and tip, I can get much better fare in the States pretty much anywhere. Service is fine, ambience is good, food presentation is good, and it's the first place I've ever been where there's more guacamole than chips, which is odd, though not 6 Euro odd. While the freshly deep-fried chips are better than out-of-the-bag ones you'd get in most places, I'd rather they be made of corn tortillas instead of flour. Crispy beef tacos look nice, however, they lack punch or depth of flavor, almost as if it had no seasoning, not even salt. This is surprising, given the amount of queso that should be in there. The side of sauce tastes basically like beef drippings and doesn't really add much, either. The fried chicken is vastly different. Again, not a Mex dish I'm familiar with, but it was tasty, with cumin (?) and chilli peppers in the batter. Cheesecake looked better than it tasted. Neither creamy nor dense, it was more like dehydrated curds or something. Passion fruit sauce was nice, but like most everything else, the bulk of the item just wasn't rich. As for the Moonlight Margarita, the big cube of ice is a fancy touch, but it's the first margarita I've ever had that's served with no salt on the rim and a dried lime slice instead of fresh. 3 stars if the price was better.

21/05/2025: Heard this place was good, they didn't mention just how good. Bread Mde fresh for each kebab, absolutely loaded with meat, salad and sauces. I've had some really really good kebabs, and took part in the kidderminster kebab wars of the 80s, but I have never had a kebab as good as the one I had from here at the weekend. Only one problem with them and its a massive one... You'll never want to eat another places kebabs ever again!

30/04/2025: We have had the chicken kebab or the mixed kebab meal in different sizes, and I would recommend trying it. Full of flavour. We have also tried their kebab pizza, which is amazing 👏

05/07/2025: €12.50 for a Fresh Cod ! Ok I was warned and staff were very nice...but the fish was over cooked and broken down the centre. Worst was it was very thin no more than 8mm thick. No nice big flakes of fish. A tail end running down to little or no fish just batter. Not good enough for the price. Other chippers are not charging this why are you ?

12/12/2024: An excellent spot to eat in or get takeaway with lots of parking nearby. The food was fantastic, fresh ingredients and well presented. I had a chicken kebab which was delicious, really well seasoned with a salad that was fresh and crispy. Highly recommended. Try it, you won't regret it.

25/04/2025: Had the most amazing breakfast at The Wilds!! I just wanted to buy everything in the shop, there was so much local, sustainable beautiful products. Such a well curated store. Highly recommend it to everyone!!.

10/08/2025: We stayed for 4 days for the Fleadh. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't served till 9am but they accommodated us with a continental breakfast for two mornings when we had to be gone early. We ate in the bar on two evenings. While we had to wait a while for the food, it was worth the wait. No complaints there! The hotel decor is a bit dated and could do with a makeover but it didn't affect us in any way. We would stay again.

08/04/2025: We went for dinner here on Sunday and to say the food was shocking is an understatement when I sent my dinner back I was told very rudely by a staff member our chef is under pressure I also noticed we weren't the only table to send back dinners that we waited over an hour for I won't be returning
