Terrific. Bunch of 14 hungry golfers stopped here on Monday evening. Food and staff were terrific. Wide range of dishes and all exceeded expectations. Top marks to the kitchen….👏

Delicious peppered beef ciabatta with chips and a pint of 0% Heineken for €19. Minus 1 star because my table was covered in the previous customer's crumbs, which the server ignored. Maybe that's a new thing, because I had the same thing happen in the Firehouse when I went in there for coffee this morning!

Julie did a brilliant job serving us today and keeping the fire lit and toasty. she's a chatty friendly warm and welcoming human being. People like Julie make gorey wonderful. Customer interaction is priceless.

Brilliant food tho the plates didn’t match the description in the menu - specially the sides etc. Great fireplace. Service a bit slow, i think they were understaffed. Bathrooms need to improve a lot.

Afternoon Tea At the Ashdown Park Hotel

09/06/2026: Great location in Gorey, and as a base for trips around Wexford. Just minutes from Courtown Harbour. Nice big room, water, tea and coffee in the room, third time visiting, nice pool, would come back, A+
10/05/2026: I had a fabulous stay recently with my mam and my daughter.We were spoiled from the moment we arrived with an upgrade,fabulous food and dancing with a live band and the most amazing treatments in Asha Spa(Highly recommended!)and all the staff were lovely.We love it here as it has everything we need for the whole family to enyoy!Thanks
