Afternoon Tea At the Ashdown Park Hotel in Gorey

Great location in Gorey, and as a base for trips around Wexford. Just minutes from Courtown Harbour. Nice big room, water, tea and coffee in the room, third time visiting, nice pool, would come back, A+

I had a fabulous stay recently with my mam and my daughter.We were spoiled from the moment we arrived with an upgrade,fabulous food and dancing with a live band and the most amazing treatments in Asha Spa(Highly recommended!)and all the staff were lovely.We love it here as it has everything we need for the whole family to enyoy!Thanks

We absolutely love working at Ashdown Park Hotel! Claire and Eimear are a fantastic team to work with on a wedding day. They are so professional, organized, and truly care about making the day perfect for the couple. As wedding photographers and videographers, we really appreciate a venue team that makes everything run so smoothly and creates such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for everyone. My experience is based on the bar food in the Ivy Bar. The hotel is nice and has built up a high reputation over the years since I first attended as a child back in the day. Look - the food is okay, not the worst but certainly wouldn’t have me coming back. The food element has gone very much down hill in recent times. I’m not sure if it’s maybe due to management changes or changes in kitchen personnel, but the food certainly isn’t what it was in its heyday. Regrettable really. I think the hotel needs to conduct a self audit an really ask itself about its standards. A hotel with so much to offer - but appearing to begin falling to below par. These are often the early signs of the decay of business, albeit at the moment, there is no shortage of customers (especially the elderly). Once I hear the food has improved here (at least), I’ll return but for now, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Thank You.

Had a lovely stay staff all very nice the hotel spotless clean breakfast and dinner food was excellent will be returning soon

Stayed here with my 7 year old daughter.. had a wonderful stay. Very relaxed atmosphere, food was excellent and staff were friendly... will stay here again.
