The Bistro in Gorey

02/04/2024: Lovely Hotel.Central location,close to the town.Staff were very friendly(Reception,Restaurant,cleaners & leisure centre) & helpful from the minute we arrived.We arrived a bit early but the room we requested was available(thank you Savanah).Breakfast was lovely,nice to get the fry served fresh to your table.Room was a lovely size.Seating area at reception was great.Changing room,pool area very well kept.Well done to all.We had a lovely break.Thank you.We will return once you remain competitive.

29/03/2024: Stayed in a deluxe room over the Easter break. Close proximity to Gorey town. The room size was good but quite dated, in particular the bathroom which really let the room down. A few stains on the carpet and marks on the wardrobe - could definitely do with some modernising. Service and check quite poor, on two occasions I couldn’t even contact reception. The biggest shock of all room service didn’t appear to be available - I tried to order a sandwich and was told we would be charged extra but wait for it - they had no coleslaw!!. Breakfast was decent with something for everyone. All in a score of 6/10 would be fair.
