A truly excellent experience. My wife and I felt it was possibly the best meal we've ever had at a restaurant. We called in the off-chance on a Thursday afternoon and were able to get a table for early evening. I had pork tenderloin and my wife had chicken, and both were delicious. We had desserts as well, the price for two courses being €39 each. On balance we felt that was very good value for money when you can spend almost as much at other venues on the same street that would be far lower quality. I presume business must be better later in the evening or on weekends because it seemed a crime that we were the only ones there for half of the meal! That made it a tad awkward with the waiter trying but to be hanging around, but it was worth it for the food when it came. We'd highly recommend to anyone who wants to sample some fine dining in Gorey, especially if you're fed up of the bog standard menu that you get in 95% of restaurants and pubs. Next time we are anywhere near this part of Ireland we will be back!
