17/02/2025: I've been going to this chipper for quite a while and I've always found it great but tonight Sunday 16 Feb 2025 I had a very odd experience. I ordered a brown 'open' bag of chips but they only half filled it and when I complained I was told this is the new portion size! To be charged nearly 5 euro for a measly half bag seemed like a bit of a rip off

08/03/2025: Really disappointing as have enjoyed the food when visiting in person. However, the takeaway/delivery service is horrific. Waiting close to two hours for an order for two people. Tried calling for 30 minutes to see how much longer and the phone was consistently engaged. A delay in delivery is one thing but not being able to get through and speak to someone is another. Definitely do not recommend for takeaway with delivery.
20/02/2025: Great family dinner here last week. Service was welcoming unobtrusive but always attentive. My food was fantastic. Asian with a twist, super tasty. Loved it will be back.

21/01/2025: From the lady that took my order over the phone to the man that delivered my food, I genuinely cannot complain, the food is exceptional as are the staff,everything was 100%,I can highly recommend roma takeaway .Tonight I ordered from roma takeaway, the only thing that was nice was the delivery driver, John Dempsey and the sausages for the dog,my taco fries looked like dog food.and didn't taste nice at all, never again would I order from here, absolutely disgraceful for what they charge
14/01/2025: I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised with Roma Takeaway. The fresh cod was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly. It was great value for money. I found it by chance while looking for somewhere else, but was glad when we tasted the food. I would definitely recommend this place for some good food.

07/03/2025: Very spicy dish even though I asked for just a tinny bit. Too much to enjoy the dish.
Prices very high for such average food quality and quantity. Charging around €5 for a bowl of white rice and €20-€30 for main dish is a rip off. Starters are not pleasant, more in the poor side.
Bad service, staff literally disappeared while customers waiting at the door to get a table, waiting for food and waiting to get the bill.
Disappointing experience, below expectations after seen many positive reviews.

14/03/2025: I visited Teng's tonight and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We were looking forward to a satisfying meal, but what we received for €24 was simply unacceptable. While I typically avoid complaining, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. The food fell far short of expectations, and we ended up feeling worse than when we arrived. Despite the lovely service from our waitress, the quality of the meal was shocking, and, sadly, I had to throw it away. Based on this experience, I won't be returning anytime soon.
03/03/2025: Ordered food from here this evening spent €20 on nothing really… went home and wasn’t satisfied with the food so we brought it ALL back down because the chicken balls we’re disgraceful… the elderly woman behind the counter said she could refund me for the chicken balls but not for the rest as it was just the chicken balls that were bad… I laughed and said so were to leave with €10 and no food??? Absolute joke lads I had to argue with the woman for my money back! Will not be going there again!! KIP

04/04/2025: Ordered a smoked cod and chips, it was my mothers favourite and because it was her anniversary I decided to get that. Then you get home and find it's a fresh cod not a smoked one. And that after waiting 25 minutes... and no, I wasn't planning on driving the 5 miles back to Gorey to complain. Its not rocket science or brain surgery.

The money was taken out of my account only to then find out that the restaurant is temporarily closed, despite their website saying otherwise. All calls to the restaurant went unanswered. No refund given

Ordered online, money was taken immediately, but no food arrived. Drove into town to see that they were closed, despite their website, socials & Google Business Profile saying they're open.
Tried multiple times to get in contact but have been ignored, despite them viewing my messages. Terrible service, feel like I've been scammed.
