28/09/2024: Amazing food. Best breakfast I've had all year. Big portions, high quality ingredients. Best cappachino in years. Friendly staff. We only discovered it, and it shuts tomorrow. It was great portions and I hope they re brand and try again because our whole group thought this was fantastic.

Enjoyed the geekyness of the decor and identifying various characters.
..... added this bit some weeks after the above,.... We went back twice this week, exceptional service both times, both visits were lunchtime.
It is with deepest regret and a broken heart that I heard of the imminent closure of GEEK.
Having read some of the other reviews posted here, I can only add that there is a banging soundtrack playing in the background, I noticed several people on several tables singing along or tapping their feet.
GEEK, you will be missed.

19/07/2025: Coming from Dublin the spice bag is definitely different… chipper chips and seasoning more sweet but the chicken balls satay and noodles were one of the best I’ve ever had everything tasted so fresh, definitely different to a Dublin Chinese but quality of the food so good

08/06/2025: I have been here quite a few times for various family get togethers and birthdays. I have never had a meal that didn’t have an issue. Be it the inattentiveness of the young staff, standing and chatting in the corners rather than asking how are meals are ! Or a dish missing, things missing off dishes, dishes not loving up to the quality promised!
I would not recommend for a group larger than 4.
The attention to detail is just not there !
05/05/2025: Food was good. Although portion sizes are quite small in some dishes. Prawn cocktail cost 12 euro and only got 6 prawns... a lot of microgreens and other stuff, just not many prawns.

19/08/2025: Our stay was an absolute dream! The view was incredible and we were right next to the best ice cream shop and chipper in town. We were also super close to the beach! The rooms were in great shape, my only minor gripe was a few cobwebs on the balcony, but everything else about this place was brilliant. I'd definitely stay here again!
04/08/2025: Great stay, only was here 1 night. I wish we had a little longer as it was a really nice hotel and the area was beautiful!

03/08/2025: Absolutely astonishing place for a nice pint.
I was wandering around Clone Strand Beach when I found the pub so I decided to stop for a pint and enjoying the sunset. There is a large carpark where you can easily park your car or motorbike. I would suggest to stop here.

We found this in a hot day, it was beautifully air conditioned very clean with comfortable seating. The staff were great and there was a huge selection of food. We had a small(it was huge) pizza and crispy duck cooked perfectly.
We will definitely be back.
