05/08/2025: Very good restaurant Large dining room, menu offering something for everyone. Fast service with attentive waiters. Children's menu with drawing and crayons. No waiting during the festival. Top notch!

23/08/2025: The staff member who served me and my cousin was extremely polite her name was eva and she greeted us with a big smile and made us feel so welcome in the restaurant and definitely deserves a raise. 10/10!! would definitely eat again!!!

12/07/2025: This place is a trap for the tourists. The meal was 10 euros and the gave me a small burger without flavor and the drink was super small and the potatoes were disgusting. DO NOT EAT IN THIS PLACE. if I have to describe this place in a word I would describe it as a mierdon.

11/07/2025: A family of 4 went in to get food, even though the sign outside on the road says food, and the sign as you walk in says pizza, they were not serving on a Thursday night in peak season in July, the pub was dead, and the barman was not exactly friendly, so we went elsewhere. Such a pity as it has so much potential.

The food was immaculate not a bite was not cherished don’t even get me started on the drink there truly was joy in every sip Genuinely the nicest food I have ever tasted and that’s saying something!! Truly a once in lifetime experience 🤩

04/04/2025: Often droping in after work for a pizza and a milk shake and always leave happy! Lovely food and the owner is a very firendly man, their quick and very fairly priced, they do a tasty margarita pizza!

29/07/2025: We just experienced the worst food ever, take away spice bag and 2 spring roll. The spice bag had only fryed chicken and chips way too spicy and nothing else. The spring rolls were horrible raw or rotten meat the smell of that when cut in half tasted disgusting so everything went to the bin rather than someone gets food poisoning ! For about €20 everybody left hungry ! Last time getting anything from this place !

29/06/2025: This is going to be a strange review because I actually ordered the wrong thing! I ordered a munch box which as we all know quite standard spice box kind of thing, absolutely not my thing at all, however everything in it was perfect cooked perfectly seasoned perfectly... If you're a spice bag/box person you should absolutely order a munch box. Of course I will order from here again after just moving to Gorey because of the standard of such a basic dish I'm very impressed. I will definitely order from here again but the food that I prefer.. I still don't know how it happened I'm not drunk I don't even drink... I somehow just ordered the wrong thing. But I do think this is going to be the best chinese takeout in Gorey ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

16/03/2025: A great spot for a lunch break. The most important thing is that the food is good, chips are not overburned or greasy, and the portions are reasonable. A small downside is the service, I would suggest using order numbers, quite surprised they didn't introduced it yet. Good choice for the food, but it could be expanded more. A lot of room behind the counter for the staff to work in, and considering how busy it gets, I recommend employing more people to work here. It's fairly clean, attention needed in the toilet. Malocca's is worth visiting!

03/04/2025: Great staff, great food, ordered chicken balls with curry sauce and chips, the chicken balls were nice, good portions too, will be back soon!

06/07/2025: No hot food after 3 which is a pity. Lovely surroundings though. Hope to try again at some stage. Place is pet friendly on the terrace.

02/06/2025: Stopped for a bank holiday lunch for family of 6 . Menu options limited - lasagne and chowder on menu not available . Roast of the day was beef - @ 17.50 , mash carrots and parsnips and a chunk of gravy coated roast beef presented. Beef absolutely inedible , extremely tough . We watched another table struggle to cut it also . We alerted the waitress twice to the fact it was inedible , she apologised but no alternative was offered . As we had prepaid there wasn’t an opportunity to discuss again . So disappointed and not cheap for self service .

02/07/2025: Pricey, pricey, pricey, but most importantly the quality of the food was really bad, , not that you want gourmet food from a chipper . But sometimes that's what you want. Dearer than Dublin by far

01/08/2025: I had heard that this place was excellent. It’s far from that. We ordered chips and kebabs. The amount of sauce on the kebabs was ridiculous. It was pouring out. The pitta breads were saturated and fell apart. I can only imagine that it was in order to cover up the dryness of the doner meat. The chips were obviously reheats and tasted old. Never again. We threw most of it away and what we did eat made us feel sick.

11/07/2025: Just ordered family meal and kids meal. Should have been €38.50 we were charged €46. I rang them and was told family meal is €40.
