05/10/2025: All I can say is the worst iv ever seen I mean I had 10 chips and 15 bits of chips I will never be back ! If that's a portion of ur chips that is a discrace iv never cn before .

25/09/2025: Well I know things are gone up in price but €4.95 for a portion of chips (not a bag of chips) and €2.95 for a garlic sauce omg that's all i can say and the chips was full of hard bits most of which went in tge bin

10/08/2025: Waited over hour and half for delivery finally got it order was wrong and they forgot stuff rang up he sent driver back up still didn't receive my full order try to ring again and they had blocked my phone number since new owners took it over its gone to the dogs and the girl who answers the phone she may go back to school ill never order again from them or step foot in it

03/08/2025: The food in roma is very tasty and nice but the price has gotten ridiculous over the past few years,before the 2024 fleadh Cheoil the price of a kebab was 7 euro,then they put it to 8 and now for the 2025 fleadh they shot it up to 9,this is simply outrageous,the sheer greed of the place has put me of from ordering there anymore.

07/09/2025: Just recieved our order of taco pizza and donor kebab tray, both were vile. The tomato base on the pizza tasted vile, the pizza was soggy, asked for well done extra crispy. The kebab tray was in a small silver tray no chilli sauce or anything in it. The chips were half cooked the donor meat was very pale looking and tasted disgusting. Both pizza and kebab tray were not edible.

16/08/2025: Unbelievable place absolutely electric energy and atmosphere coming from the awesome workers top class bunch !! The food was immaculate not a bite was not cherished don’t even get me started on the drink there truly was joy in every sip Genuinely the nicest food I have ever tasted and that’s saying something!! Truly a once in lifetime experience 🤩

07/07/2025: Used to love Regent but it has gone down in my opinion. We loved the curry triangles but they have hardly any filling anymore. Had a beef chow mein which was way too tough and was full of onion. Disappointing 😞

24/04/2025: Horrific. Truly. Cold bleak setting that feels really unwelcoming and cheap. Food was utterly tasteless and we left as soon as we could. Wont be eating on site for the rest of our stay.

29/09/2025: The location of this place is great. Unfortunately, the food is below average. The burgers we ordered were cold and quite plain. Honestly the worst burgers we've ever tried. It's a shame.

04/08/2025: I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Dunbrodie House Hotel so that future guests are aware of the hotel's disappointing stance on customer care. Earlier this year, I booked a two-night bed-and-breakfast stay using a Blue Book voucher — a retirement gift from my colleagues. Just a few miles away from the hotel on the day of check-in, I received an emergency call from my daughter: our young grandson had fallen seriously ill and was being rushed to hospital by ambulance. I called the hotel immediately to explain that we would not be able to check in under such distressing circumstances. I was told I would forfeit the full value of the booking (€660) as the cancellation was too late. I later emailed the manager asking — not for a refund — but simply to reschedule the booking at an off-peak time, as a gesture of basic compassion. After several emails, I was "offered" the same package again for a further €560 which would mean our two- night stay would cost us €1,220. I was shocked at the coldness and inflexibility of this response. While I understand policies are in place for a reason, many hotels demonstrate kindness when emergencies arise. Sadly, Dunbrodie House chose not to. It felt both unsympathetic and needlessly rigid, especially considering the booking was made using a meaningful gift voucher. It’s a beautiful property, but I cannot recommend it to anyone who values humanity and basic understanding in customer service. I sincerely hope the management rethinks how they treat guests during genuine emergencies.

23/02/2025: Delicious (rich) food in a delightful location not far from the spectacular Hook Head peninsula; served by polite and engaging staff. Not cheap; in fact expensive but well worth an indulgent break. To be thoroughly recommended. 4.5 out of 5
