Kelly's Restaurant
Bunclody-carrickduff
11/03/2025: Hi there, we visited recently and had three sausage rolls and 3 teas.
I'm just wondering why the sausage rolls arrived tepid and not hot. Pastry soggy. I didn't question your staff on this because tbh, you're in the food service industry and should know better.
They were a nice flavour but the experience was not good because they were not cooked properly.
And , over €30 for 3 sausage rolls and 3 teas....expensive I think. I also noticed a woman having soup near us, my god the portion of soup was small, could you spare it...seriously you need to do better.
10/02/2025: Kelly's is by far our favourite cafe in Wexford, but the dirt of the glasses and the sugar bowls leaves a lot to be desired.

Farmers Kitchen Lounge
Wexford
20/01/2025: Decided to visit following a recommendation from family and this was easily the best meal of our trip. The wife had the salmon and I had the lamb tomahawk. Unfortunately, although the lamb was cooked perfectly, the veg that came with the dish had a lot of water at the bottom which is my only complaint.
I will add that the staff were fantastic providing some of the best service we have received in a long time.
We will visit again when we are next in the area!
23/09/2024: First time we stopped off here, on our way to ferry.
Great food and reasonably priced.
My husband and I both had the turkey and ham dinner, large portions
very tasty.
Staff pleasant and friendly.
Will definitely return when in the area.

01/03/2025: Good coffee and nice breakfast rolls. Staff more interested in chatting to colleagues than saying thank you and smiling.

Hook Lighthouse Cafe
24/04/2025: Think it's called the lightkeepers breakfast. Huge breakfast, including 2 slices of toast and tea/coffee all for €11.95. Really tasty and filling. Not many places left where you would get a big decent Irish breakfast for that price. Lots of tables inside and outside with stunning views. They also do great coffee, cakes, scones and full lunch menu (hot and cold, sandwiches made to order etc.) plus kids meals. A must when visiting Hook Pennisula and the beautiful lighthouse.
17/04/2025: We had fish and chips, the fish had bones and skin, the skin had scales which put children off, and the chips had too much salt. Not suitable for children in our opinion.
