16/04/2026: Not good, chips are hard and like they have been lying around for hours.... they ALWAYS forget parts of the order, THEY ARE EXTREMELY SLOW AND NEVER DONE ON TIME. when you email to complain for being charged for food you havent recieved they never reply!!
THERE IS A MUCH NICER CHINESE ACROSS THE BRIDGE GO OVER THERE INSTEAD!!
10/04/2026: I just wanted to update everyone I don’t believe they do sit in anymore, but food was fab and fair price.
We’ve ordered a happy box 14” €23 was a lot of food for 2 people and also the duck starter which it was amazing but again a lot of food for 2 people, we’re just so used to Dublin prices that we tought it would be very small portions, highly recommend.

07/04/2026: With yesterday been an Easter bank holiday Monday 6th April 2026 there was very little restaurants open early in afternoon in the town. I stumbled across this one.
Service was great and friendly. Both the starter and main meal didn't disappoint. Unfortunately very little to choose from alcohol wise. No dessert menu if you plan on ordering one. Overall a nice restaurant.

14/02/2026: Said give it a go again after many years .Wrong sauce in my duck and side portion missing and no answer to phone. Lesson learned i will not be returning
21/01/2026: We ordered 2 dinners both were watered down and it looked as if the veggies weren’t properly cooked.
Ordered veggie spring rolls, they were however not veg as there was both meat and a shrimp in the roll.
And there was a back blob in the boiled rice, I have no clue what that was.

11/02/2026: This women should not be aloud to work she is rude she is arrogant food is bland and flavourless (spice bag is the only good thing) she shouted at me for trying to use card she has a card machine that works but refuses to take card she called me “a dirty b””””

The woman behind the counter showed appalling customer service. As a regular trying to pay by card for a munch box, I was rudely told there’s a €15 minimum and it’s cash only — “you should know this by now.” On another occasion, after being charged extra for sauce, I had to walk back to my car in pouring rain. When I returned soaking wet, she had the nerve to laugh at me. This behaviour is humiliating, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. After seeing numerous bad reviews, I’m shocked this place is still allowed to operate. I will never set foot here again.

10/08/2025: Best restaurant in gorey the food it is always fresh and tasty.The staff are really nice .Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.We order take away from it when we visit Gorey and have a meal in it too.Prices are great and portions are very generous too.
28/07/2025: While on holidays in Gorey we noticed this restaurant and decided to go on the last night. This was the best decision the food was outstanding and that was agreed by a fussy eater. Food came out hot brought kids meals out with starters, never rushed the taste was so good. The staff were friendly and kind to the kids especially. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend. Thank you IPOH
