10/06/2025: Just stayed. We were taking the ferry the next day and this motel was perfect. Sue was very sweet and gave us a great food recommendation. The room was clean and the bathroom was nice. No Lyft, so get there early for the stairs. Not the Ritz, but not Ritz prices either.
16/05/2025: This is a really good place to stop for the night before getting on the ferry in the morning the lady behind the desk is so helpful and very pleasant

12/06/2025: Brutally honest food is pure poison and plus told them I had egg chilli and nut allergy and I ordered a veg chow main and guess what they put in it egg and chilli told them.i wasn't happy oh we will fix that for you to send up more the same and over charged me to bits. No card payments no receipt basically take the money and run.
26/05/2025: A Chinese takeaway with all the trimmings. Food is excellent. I recommend their sweet and sour sauce, not as sickly sweet as others that I have tried. The order was ready quicker than expected .Fantastic portions.

25/05/2025: Needed something sweet for the evening so I bought 2 pcs. Homemade Bakewell tart, 10 eur/pc. Only at home did I realize that one had passed the best before date by 3 days! BB was 10/5, I bought 12/5. Aren't you ashamed?? Had to throw it away. The other one had BB date 13/5. Warning about old pastries sold there!

The money was taken out of my account only to then find out that the restaurant is temporarily closed, despite their website saying otherwise. All calls to the restaurant went unanswered. No refund given

Ordered online, money was taken immediately, but no food arrived. Drove into town to see that they were closed, despite their website, socials & Google Business Profile saying they're open.
Tried multiple times to get in contact but have been ignored, despite them viewing my messages. Terrible service, feel like I've been scammed.

12/05/2025: The food was a ten out of ten, I ordered a beef and black bean with egg fried rice for me and then spring rolls and spicy bags for the kids . The food was fast, tasty and very hot! I walked home which took me around twenty five minutes and the food was still delicious and hot. The service was great! Staff behind the counter was extremely friendly and smiley which is great to see! The kids also loved it. Definitely go for a visit if you have the chance to. Will be returning 😊

16/03/2025: A great spot for a lunch break. The most important thing is that the food is good, chips are not overburned or greasy, and the portions are reasonable. A small downside is the service, I would suggest using order numbers, quite surprised they didn't introduced it yet. Good choice for the food, but it could be expanded more. A lot of room behind the counter for the staff to work in, and considering how busy it gets, I recommend employing more people to work here. It's fairly clean, attention needed in the toilet.
Malocca's is worth visiting!
17/02/2025: Ordered fresh fish goujons but arrived looking like anorexic fishfingers. Rang straight away to ask had something happened their fish. Went in next day to Owner with my food and she tried to say I had eaten it. I had not, nothing to eat as no fish in them 🤷. No refund but then tbey never do refund if you are unhappy with the food. And the goujons seemingly a "tempura" batter lol maloccas getting notions about themselves!! Far from a tempura, more like a greasy breaded coating
