BURGER in Gorey

After going to the Texaco location, it's genuinely angering me reading some of the bad reviews on here. Saw some morons call it overpriced. Genuinely don't know how you can reach that conclusion. A big double patty burger, a mountain of fries (their medium fries puts the large portion in other fast food places to shame), and an Oreo milkshake for 13.50 is outrageously good value. Honestly unbelievable in this day and age when you're paying the same price for a smaller portion of processed stuff up the road in Burger King. The food was excellent, the presentation of the food was great, food came hot and freshly cooked, and service was swift. Can sit indoors and out, and there's also a drive thru. My girlfriend and I went on a Sunday afternoon and there were a few customers there but still very chill and easy to find seating. The type of place where you hope the food and prices never change. Loved it. My singular complaint was they need to update the menus on the ordering kiosk screens to show pictures of the food. I'll be back, this is the BEST burger joint in Gorey.

Called in last night for our usual burgers. Suffice to say it was very disappointing. The burges that we chose Seem to have suffered from shrinkinflation. The new departure to put fries in a bag without reducing the price is another example of it. If you’re going to reduce the size of your portions, you should also reduce your prices. Whole thing was underwhelming. There was also no ketchup, no napkins and a 45 minute wait. I get it may be teething problems Due to the new business opening the same week, but I really hope the priority doesn’t go to the new business. You’ve got a great opportunity here - try to maintain the standard you had set. Will likely give it one more more try.

Fab food. We had dogs with us as we were just back from beach. They gave us some food for the dogs. Which I taught was a lovely idea. Staff were lovely and helpful. Theres a lovely atmosphere here. Food is Savage and be back again
