06/08/2025: Tried to buy a bag of coffee today after buying two coffees but was turned away and told no to come back tomorrow. Not from the area.

06/08/2025: We would have definitely given 5 stars except the wine was over priced. The food quality and service was out standing. The consistentcy of the quality of the food and service has been maintained for over 30 years of our experience and I suspect for much longer than that. We would highly recommend

13/08/2025: Visited during the busy week of the Fleadh. Slow que to order your food. Helpful staff but the place was untidy with trays not collected promptly. Nice menu, food was lovely.

19/06/2025: I didn't eat there but it seemed like the people were great. I was getting the bus and I had no water and the people were kind enough to just give me a free water bottle. Definitely appreciated it

20/06/2025: Ate here today with my mam we both got a coffee and an açai bowl. The coffee was gorgeous and the place looks fab! The staff were lovely. Unfortunately the food was a let down. After having the same food in enniscorthy this just wasn’t the same. The bowl had one strawberry on top and a tiny bit of granola and that’s it:( the lady at the counter did take one bowl off for us and told us it was their first day serving them so maybe just a teething problem. The fire alarm going off was also very annoying, I know can’t be helped but did not stop! Unfortunately won’t be back.

01/09/2025: This Restirant is as good as it gets cant wait to go back next week food quality and the taste way above any other Chinese restaurant I have being in slightly more expensive than some but as they say you pay for what u get in this case that's true you won't be disappointed

16/08/2025: The menu is very small. It is not the one that you see online when googling the restaurant. The food and drinks were very expensive. The service was very slow. We received our first plate of food 1 hour and 10 minutes after entering the restaurant. The food was nice but wasn't worth the wait.

07/08/2025: On the way back from beech day just pop in for quick carvery lunch , place nice service quick and no messing around carvery hmmmm was not the best was ok Portion big but not enough taste from it just plane meat

04/08/2025: It's a good restaurant with friendly and fast service. The lamb curry was delicious and spicy, just as it should be. The steak was large enough and came with plenty of side dishes.

19/07/2025: An honest assessment of the hotel. Well start off with the obvious, there are 4 stars on the wall, but there's nothing 4 start about the hotel, it is badly dated and in need of a revamp in many areas. The price, over 900 for two people sharing for 3 nights with two dinners included. Over 1200 for the same if you need a bigger room with the kids. So we had 4 rooms booked for close to 4k. The rooms themselves, they had air-conditioning which they should. They have a reasonable amount of space. Thats where it ends really. One of the rooms was so old it literally smelled like must the entire time, the bathrooms pour water all over the floors if you shower and had grime. One of the rooms showers didn't work at all, even after maintenance fixed it. There's no fridge for cold drinks and there's no water. Most importantly I hope you don't plan on sleeping after about 5-6am as the walls are made of paper, all you can hear is screaming kids running up and down the halls from that hour. I might as well add that there's no where in the hotel you can go that doesn't have screaming kids all day long, that includes the bars, restaurants, swimming facilities, literally everywhere. The pool facilities are dated, small and desperately in need of a revamp. Food, by far the best part about the place, it is very tasty, the breakfast has something for everyone and the dinners are very good. There is of course a problem with that as there constantly was, despite the fact that they sell packages knowing that rooms will want dinner, when you try to book tables for the whole family you are told there is either no space or they can maybe fit you in at 5pm or after 8pm which is too late for the kids.. given they know youve booked in a large family for the weekend with meals included, how can you not have space for them. They advertise 3 restaurants and two of them outright say they won't accommodate such a large family(12)... madness. They also refuse to allow people sit on the outside part of the restaurant, where there were dozens of empty tables with a roof during a heatwave, apparently people are not allowed eat outside? The last gripe I have with the hotel is a simple one, you arrive back to the hotel at 00.30 and there's a wedding in full swing, people everywhere, wandering through the residential area, the bar actively pulling pints which you could see walking in BUT residents who've spent nearly 4k to stay are not entitled to ha e a drink despite the hotel serving drinks. In summation, money not well spent and somewhere to avoid. It cost roughly the same to rent a villa in Portugal last year for over a week.

16/07/2025: We come here every year with our 2 kids and it's amazing 👏 I just had a couple of issues. One small issue was with the pizza restaurant called Farina...the pizza was overloaded with cheese and it was soggy it genuinely turned my stomach but that could be just a once-off problem on the night. My other issue was with a worker who was looking after the cars that the kids go on. My 2 kids had no problems going on them on there own the first 2 nights but our last night there was one worker who is a child himself he looked like he was 16 and he stopped my kid from going on it on his own and shamed him by singling him out to measure him and he was short by a couple of centimeters and he told us he wasnt aloud on alone. We told him he was on the ride alone the last 2 nights and he didn't care. Now I know rules are rules but come on...I had to get on the ride with my son and I'm not small...I was squashed into the car and I slowed it down to a point where it wasn't even fun for my child! The worker was a foxy-haired guy I didn't get his name but he wasn't nice to deal with at all! But over all as I said we love this place but this experience left a bad taste for us. That particular worker made us feel embarrassed.
