24/01/2026: This is the best takeaway in Ballagh. I ordered a doner kebab and a bag of chips, and I loved it—the best I've had. They make the best chips you'll find anywhere. The kebab was fresh and delicious, with a generous portion of doner meat. Plus, it's usually busy, the waiter is very friendly, and they serve your food in just 10-15 minutes, no matter how many customers there are. You won't be disappointed!

30/12/2025: This was my second time visiting this place, the last being about 15 years ago, which was an awful experience. Friends claimed it had improved since then. It hasn’t.We ordered two burgers and two pasta dishes. There were only two other tables occupied, so it wasn’t busy, yet it still took 55 minutes for our food to arrive. The burgers were a disaster, the buns were rock hard, the beef was dry and tasteless, and there were random ingredients on the burger that weren’t even listed on the menu. The egg was solid as a brick, and everything was lukewarm at best.The pasta dishes looked like slop. The tagliatelle was completely broken down, no proper strands, just mush. Flavours were passable, but the texture was like eating porridge, which made it hard to stomach. I complained about the burger bun, and the plate was taken away. A minute later, it was returned with the brilliant explanation that the bun was “toasted,” so apparently I was wrong. Déjà vu, just like 15 years ago when we were told to eat what we were given. Then, unbelievably, the chef came out brandishing a pack of shop-bought buns to “prove” they were fresh.It’s obvious the ingredients come straight from a local supermarket. After raising issues, the younger staff members ignored us, though I don’t blame them; it’s poor management. The older staff member should have come over to say something, but didn’t, which only confirmed they knew they were in the wrong. I hate leaving bad reviews for small businesses, but this one is well deserved. If anything, I hope it pushes them to actually improve. Customers need to stop settling for such poor food and service and demand better.

27/12/2025: Just finished dinner, desert and wine, very very nice/Authentic , great staff , cozy vibe , nicest food I’ve ate in Enniscorthy hands down!! The taste of the grill of the chicken… go and enjoy! 🇵🇹

22/02/2026: Food was nice but portions for takeaway are very small and quite high in price for the amount you get. Staff were also a little rude when we arrived to order takeaway, felt like they wanted us to go away cause the restaurant was busy, strange atmosphere.

31/01/2026: The hot and sour soup is way hotter than the 2 chillies symbols suggest, the mains don't include sides, the sauces were incredibly salty and the wine is very expensive. Not worth a visit.

14/02/2026: Went for lunch .was placed at a table with the previous diners leftovers still on it .five minutes later was given a menu .25 minutes later still hadn't ordered or been any indication that I would ge ordering anytime soon.needed my coffee fix so I travelled 200m meters to the Upton Court Hotel was given menu on arrival and coffee straight away while I waited for food.excellent service. Food looked lovely in kates but with no criticism to the staff who were run off their feet. extremely poor setup Won't be back Upton cheaper and top notch

24/11/2025: Wanted to try a new coffee shop. Went in around 11:30-12 , bathrooms were disgusting with pee on the floor and no toilet paper in any of them. It wasn’t busy but I understand since there were only 3 people on staff that I saw. One barista did not have their hair tied up when making drinks. Other then that drinks were lovely and the girl who served us was very understanding and polite.

05/11/2025: Overall a good Costa. I had the Cortado which was nice. The seats need to be replaced as some are torn and frayed. The staff member who served me was pleasant but two others were engaged in a hushed conversation which looked out of place.

27/07/2025: What a chipper. I must say, absolutely astonishing. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, absolutely breathtaking. To begin, the chicken fillet burger that I consumed was second to none. Pure, real, juicy chicken breast sandwiched in two plump burger buns, along with all of the toppings, quite impressive how they managed to create such an incredible taste. Moving on to the atmosphere, pure joy and love in the building. I could not have felt any more at home when I stepped foot into fratellis, surrounded by the love and care of such incredible people. Lastly, the service; 10/10. The workers were incredibly helpful, especially young Alberto behind the counter who took my order and made my food, what a hard working, generous and kind man. All in all, what I’d like to say is fratellis is a must visit chipper in gorey town, best around. 🥰😁👍
