Absolutely Beautiful Hotel. Gorgeous food throughout. Lovely breakfast room also.
Loved the filtered water available on each floor and the pool area was very nice.
Archery was great fun!
If youre not planning on being around children, definitely go elsewhere.
Couple of cons for us:
Parking Angles were very cumbersome to get the car in or out of the space/car park.
Our smart soap dispensers in the rooms didnt work. So we didnt have soap.
My room smelled like poop when I arrived (a smell i also noticed downstairs) to the hotels credit, staff came promptly to my room to dispense chlorine tablets into the drains. That did help.
The buffet is delicious, but you have to order your teas and coffees, and they took most of our breakfast experience to arrive.
We were missing some cutlery or cups at our tables, for both meals.
Glasses for water at the buffet were teensy juice glasses.
The very young staff at the tuck shop were not trained on information for the entry to the archery place, so she was not helpful. Which was right beside her.
Lost a good chunk of sleep over people banging hotel doors late in the night.
I expect that it is a wonderful place if you have many kids.

Myself, husband and 2 year old daughter stayed here for 2 nights. The room was very spacious and clean but felt a bit run down. All lampshades were broken, remote control had no back to conceal the batteries which is dangerous incase toddlers swallow the batteries, briken haordryer. I rang down for a new one and waited pver an hour to be given it. Hair on bed and dated uncomfortable couch.
We ate in the main restaurant, on the first night our drinks were forgotten. Our food came out before our daughters, should be the opposite. We had the table from 5.30 to 7, at 6 while we were still eating we were asked 4 times would we like desserts. I'd prefer to eat in peace and not feel rushed. The restaurant was not busy so table pressure should not be an issue. I ordered an amaretto sour cocktail, I received an Americano coffee which the waiter called an americano sour when I told him the order is wrong.
The soft play area is good but there should be a staff member supervising behaviour and age of children as alot of kids were unaccompanied and kept knocking over the younger toddlers that should be able to play properly.
The pool was very dirty and small. The changing facility is honestly the worst ive ever used. Only 12 lockers so I had to put my bags on the floor. One small seat area, no hairdryers or adequate space for families to put down babies safely. It over all just felt grubby and old.
Service in the restaurant the next night was better but the steak and seafood pasta was very poor. The kids hotdog was a strange white colour.
Overall amber springs looks lovely when you walk in and has the potential with the facilities they offer families, especially kids, for a great vacation but it feels like it's been ignored and let go down hill. Such a shame.

Really struggled to give this 3 stars.
Pool locker rooms - dirty and not maintained. Many lockers didn't work.
Safety gate from lockers to pool side didn't work. Needs to be fixed but staff didn't seem to take note when mentioned.
Pool is nice and warm but can get very very busy.
The room itself was clean and tidy. However, both towel rails were loose, and the flush mechanism of the toilet fell off in my hand.
Staff on the front desk were really nice and answered and questions we had.
Staff in the tuck shop, seemed we bothered them when we asked a question. 3 sitting around and I felt we disturbed their conversation.
BBG restaurant - it was the only one opened when we were there. The staff member on check in was describing the other restaurants and realised half way through they were closed.
The food leaves a lot to be answered for. My chicken burger was cold. They gave a replacement, which was fine. But shouldn't have been cold in the first place.
Beef burger was 2 burger pattys, probably frozen and cooked, was only ok.
Steaks the 2nd night were much better and required a small supplement.
Kids meals and desserts are fine.
Adults desserts are something similar to frozen box desserts.
Service was slow enough, 5.30pm booking son wasn't even that busy.
Breakfast - hot food was inedible, egg like rubber. Bacon rock solid.. pudding the same.
Cereals and fruit selection were OK, along with pastries etc.
The sensory room, although a great idea and welcomed in a hotel, a €20 fee for neurotypical children is an absolute stretch.
The hotel itself needs a MAJOR revamp. Carpets etc are dirty along the edges, furniture is old etc. Gives the impression it was built and nothing has been done since. They're charging enough so I'm sure they could reinvest back into the premises.
