Lovely room with facilities suitable for small children. Food was ok and one of the staff was a bit grumpy towards me and my asian friend(but not my Irish husband or her husband), found quite discriminating tbh. Great value for period we stayed. However pool was very smelly of chemicals so I wouldn’t bring small children there often/long

We stayed for the Easter weekend and we truly enjoyed our stay. We were a family of four with one toddler and teenager. Plenty to do to keep young and old occupied. With our 3 year old we found the soft play area brilliant as he used the play area countless times. Also another plus is that the indoor soft play is included when you stay and it's no extra charge. Other hotels charge extra for soft play. Our room was a good size as we got one of the dens. We ate in the restaurant the two nights we were there. The food was amazing and the staff are really good and helpful. The only small thing that bothered us was when guests were using the fire exit doors at the restaurant. There are doors at the back of the restaurant which leads to the outside and other guests would leave the doors open when going outside, which leads to a draft coming into the restaurant. There are signs on the door to say not to use the doors but they were ignored by some guests. Can't blame the hotel for other guests ignoring signs but maybe a alarm on the doors might prevent it but it is a catch 22 situation as they are fire exits. But overall a brilliant hotel and we will be back again.

Really enjoyed my stay. The spa & leisure centre are excellent. Staff are really helpful & friendly, thank you for a lovely experience.

Fantastic place highly recommended

Stayed here on 14th of March with my family (13 of us) and from reading some bad reviews I was a bit apprehensive but from the moment we arrived at reception we were warmly greeted by lovely kind helpful staff. Our rooms were all close to each other and were spotless, a travel cot was changed to a camp bed with no problem. The pool and play area were brilliant and the kids (and adults;-) had a ball. Evening meal was delicious and our waitress (Niamh) couldn't do enough for us, made sure that the kids had everything they wanted. Our buffet Breakfast was delicious (especially the pancakes). Thanks to all for a great stay and thumbs up to Manager Elaine for looking after us so well.We will all be back for sure

Beautiful hotel. The only thing I can give out about is the food, it was nice but cold and that's happened a few times now. But apart from that, it's a lovely family hotel with loads for kids to do

On arrival, we couldn’t find any disabled parking, there was only 2 allotted slots for the whole hotel, the lady on the desk was nice and we were checked in swiftly. There was a lift which helped with hauling bags up to the second floor. Upon entering the room it was like the hotel was on the sun, this hotel is constantly too warm, we kept the air con on 16degrees and had 2 windows open for our whole stay and it was so hot! The room was a nice size, however needs some love. There was a broken lamp shade, a bedside table with a broken leg, and mould caked around the inside of the windows. The extractor fan and the hot water tap on the bath both did not work in the bathroom. However the rest of the room was clean to a decent standard. Swimming facilities great, good size changing rooms and kids pool, however a strange request (or way to make extra money) was to require all guests wear swimming caps?! I’ve been to hundreds of pools at hotels and never had this before. So that was an extra €3 each just to get into the pool. The restaurants provide great food and drink, however because of the heat in the hotel we found it difficult to stay sat for more than half an hour at breakfast! The terrace bar is a great get away for parents at night/ evening as it is open after 5pm. Pints well priced. Having a soft play in the hotel is fantastic for when the kids need an hour to run off some steam, as well as that, it’s great that the pet farm is right next to it, as well as the football pitch and electric go karts. The train ride and item hunt with tucker the dog and the train driver was probably the kids highlight, we thought it was just a simple train drive but credit to the driver and the person dressed as tucker the dog, they really entertained the kids and they had a great time. All in all we had a fantastic 2 nights with lots to do for the kids, we were at the hotel for 48 hours and only had to leave once to pop to Tesco.

Arrived slightly earlier than check-in time and was checked in no problem as room ready. Had booked family suite den. First impressions, room looked good but after only a few minutes, noticed quite a bit dirt on the carpet that my 3 year old also commented on how dirty it was esp once we moved the bed, dust in wardrobe space etc. Strong musky smell on the corridor. No bathrobe or slippers offered even when we rang reception. For the amount we paid and considering they have spa facilities, was expecting this. Pool was warm, shower facilities need a revamp - shower curtain looks old and dirty. Food was good in the bar and grill and burger farmhouse, not so much the Italian. Breakfast quality def could be improved. Good activities for kids though small sur-charges apply. Not sure we'd be back!
