03/08/2026: Fantastic food and such friendly staff! Lovely vegetarian options and a good size menu. The two ladies working today (one with short brown hair and a younger girl with long blonde hair) were working their tails off as it was quite busy (bank holiday Monday) and they did so with big smiles. Food tasted great and came out quickly. Looking forward to coming back.

31/07/2026: Food is excellent, but the owner/manager doesn't appear to care about the customers beyond their money. Online ordering is available through their website but only partly works. Order is submitted but feedback system (accepted, ready etc) isn't used properly. We waited for 20 mins after the requested time and was still showing not yet ready online. When I asked the kitchen "oh yeah that's been ready for ages, it's over here". When I mentioned to the owner/manager that the online system isn't clear/being used properly, he got angry and defensive, "you didn't tell me your name, I don't know you, you need to announce yourself to me when you get here, it's just common sense". When a business' first response is to blame you...

18/07/2026: We went for dinner here and were quite pleased with it. I've tasted a lot of pulled pork in my life, and genuinely think the pulled pork here is one of the nicest I've ever had. Generous portions, and the staff were extremely friendly. Prices were good for the amount of food we received too.

The service was genuinely excellent — friendly, attentive, and perfectly paced, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The food was the real highlight. The Forthside chunky seafood chowder was rich, hearty, and full of flavour, easily one of the best we’ve had. The mushrooms were beautifully cooked, and the monkfish and king prawns on a bed of mash was a standout dish — generous portions, perfectly balanced flavours, and cooked with real skill. The baked haddock with a parmesan crust was another winner, crisp on top and tender underneath. With great service, delicious food, and very reasonable prices for the quality, Whitford House Restaurant is absolutely worth a visit.

21/05/2026: Dined out here, could not believe how they managed to fit us in, as it was really busy, but they had a table,and we were well looked after us, we ate in the Bistro bar, food was exceptional, service was excellent, and we had wine and beer, with our meal, we plan on going back before we leave Wexford.👌

26/07/2026: Hands down the best pastry in town. Fresh and proper. Walked all town to find a good pastry and found it here. Got a cinnamon twist and a chocolate croissant, very delicious, fresh, and crunchy. And got a coconut latte. Would definitely recommend. €8 for latte and croissant. Unfortunately they close on Sundays which is a real bummer

08/07/2026: I’ve been going to Westgate Design(Cafe 22 and Lane Cafe) for around 7 years now and it’s still one of my favourite spots in Wexford. They have my favourite coffee in town, and the food is always delicious whether I’m sitting in or getting something to take away. There’s always something lovely to choose from, whether it’s a meal, a salad, their overnight oats, packaged paninis, sweet treats, or pastries. Everything I’ve had over the years has been consistently delicious. It is slightly on the pricey side, so I’m very glad they have a loyalty card for the coffee! But for the quality, atmosphere, and consistency, it’s somewhere I’m always happy to return to. The staff are always super friendly and helpful too, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. It’s also been a lovely place to meet friends, catch up over coffee, or even co-work for a couple of hours. It has such a welcoming atmosphere, and I always enjoy visiting. I’ve gathered so many photos of their food and drinks over the years, which says it all really. A real Wexford gem and somewhere I’m always happy to recommend.

05/04/2026: Was here with a large party. Food was excellent.had the spring roll start and monkfish main. Both were some of the best seafood dishes I've ever had. Service was excellent as well

27/03/2026: La Côte Seafood Restaurant Honestly, a complete disappointment. Based on the ratings, I expected quality food, but the reality was completely different. I ordered gnocchi and what I got was undercooked, almost raw in places, and absolutely unacceptable. On top of that, the dish was overloaded with garlic to the point where it completely ruined the flavor – it was impossible to eat. I genuinely don’t understand how something like this can even leave the kitchen. For me, a total fail. Definitely not recommended.

30/07/2026: Great Indian spot in town. The food was excellent. I had the south Indian lamb curry, with vegetable fried rice and a garlic&coriander naan. Complimentary crackers with sweet dips. The food came out very warm, the portions were very generous and well presented. The naan was nice. The curry and rice were really good, full of taste. Service was pleasant and polite, but not too hospitable, no smiles. All in all, my Indian restaurant of choice so far.
