The best restaurants in Wexford

09/11/2025: Called in again yesterday, had the nicest French toast. A total gem of a restaurant in Wexford. The food and service is always top notch. The kids pancakes are delicious. Had the turkey panini, was delicious. The staff are so warm and friendly. Well worth a stop.

22/08/2025: We popped in for a quick drink on way past and stayed for a few. Ken the owners was very friendly and chatty and we was hoping to get back in for another drink but we only had a 2 day visit and a wedding so sadly we didn’t manage to. We will be back in Wexford and definitely will be in again. Thanks Andrea and Carlo

30/09/2025: Today we visited Wexford Coffée Roasters. Clean and tidy. Lots of visitors. Very cosy and atmospheric. Friendly owners who greet you with a smile. Definitely 10 stars. Highly recommended.

19/09/2025: Flory was wonderful to deal with. We had asked specifically for two gluten free cakes, one in Belgian Chocolate Cream and the other in Lemon & Blueberry. Fresh and delicious ingredients, beautifully presented and ready on our big day. Thanks Flory!

24/11/2025: I've been coming here as a place to get Iced Matcha in Wexford, but to be honest, the quality is honestly not up to par with other places in Wexford that are cheaper. It's just fine. I also found it so disheartening to hear the front staff so loudly talk to the kitchen staff in such disparaging and condescending tones. It made me feel terrible for the kitchen staff, I've been a kitchen worker and know how loud it can be and how many things you're juggling in that environment. Meanwhile the front staff are degrading you in front of customers? Just so unprofessional and completely put me off coming here again. It wasn't even that busy, so no reason for people to be so unkind to each other. I think I'll go elsewhere where staff treat each other with respect in the future...

20/11/2025: Lunch was amazing. I've been really liking the iced matchas here too lately. Friendly staff. Good service. My new favourite spot.

28/11/2025: By far the best coffee shop in town from it's coffee to its style, customer service and management. Everytime I go here I'm greeted with the best customer service and leave with a very tasty well prepared coffee. 10/10 for the whole ufucoffee team keep doing what yous do best.

22/11/2025: The tripe chocolate cake was deliouse. Unfortunately if you are going to sell macha and a matcha menu please learn how to make it. It was not mixed properly and the oat milk was not steamed accordingly. Please please please do not sell something you do not know how to make. Also pistachio cannoli was sold as such and no mention of peanuts. Household of peanut allergy not ideal to bring home. I asked if just pistachio and was told it was. In this day and age 2 very simple issues that should not accure.

25/11/2025: Was very disappointed in this visit today. Have visited here a few times before and found no problem. Today we had to send back the curry as it was cold. The ham hock sandwich dish had got one slice of thin ham, they told me the kitchen ran out of ham hock but never told the staff. Chips were not that hot either. Was charged full price for everything, and got a feeling the staff didn't really care.There are lots of great eating places in Wexford so won't be returning here.

05/12/2025: I had a half pounder burger and chips from Cafolla takeaway. I had it delivered to my home,and I have to say the lady that took my order on the phone was so polite and helpful, the man that delivered my food was the very same, and my food was absolutely excellent. I genuinely cannot fault this takeaway. I will definitely be ordering from Cafolla takeaway again. Everything was 100%.

10/04/2025: My third time in Wexford but my first visit to The Pike Bar. It came as a recommendation and it did not disappoint. Fantastic welcome, great atmosphere and spotlessly clean. I'm a Guinness drinker and I have to say, one of the best pints I've had in Ireland with "Schtick" all the way down the glass. The Barman was fab and knew exactly how to pour a superb pint of creamy Guinness. Will definitely be back and probably my new favourite pub in Wexford...... Hats off to you lads!!!

29/03/2025: Ahhhh Trevor Ducey, one of the best barmen/owners I have ever come across. You will never go wrong by dropping into The Pike for a pint and an interesting conversation with Trev. Genuine nice guy that puts his punters first.

22/09/2025: We went to Vine Thai Restaurant for my mother-in-law’s birthday with a group of 12, and we were really impressed. The staff were amazing friendly, attentive, and the service was excellent throughout. It was also nice to see David there, making sure everything was running smoothly. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the evening was a great success. Thank you for a lovely night!

31/10/2025: Went to the Crown having been before for food and enjoyed it. This time however was not a good experience. Got a chicken burger & chips, friend got fish & chips. The burger could quite happily have a second career as a hockey puck, burnt and hard! Fish inedible, chips limp and soggy. Given we were starving and going to a concert we just sent back the fish dish. I had already cut the burnt outside off the burger. Very disappointed. Staff were helpful and offered to get us something else.

25/10/2025: We visited this place with a large group and had an amazing experience. It's a massive, atmospheric location with several different venues and a beautiful, colorful fireplace that creates a wonderful vibe. A special thank you to the responsive staff who even helped us take a group photo – a really nice touch! We loved the flexibility of sitting both inside and outside. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly. The place offers a lot of events and live music, adding to the great atmosphere. While prices are slightly above average, it's absolutely worth it. You're paying for the fantastic mood, comfort, and overall excellent experience. We can't wait to come back!
