Had really great seafood chowder and a stew here. The place is huge and the owner is very friendly. Highly recommended.

Love this spot! Cracking pub with a great atmosphere, tasty food, and an absolute 10/10 pint of Guinness. It's also a great sports bar, always showing live sport on multiple TVs. They've always got great tunes playing and brilliant live music too. Highly recommend!!

Went in for Sunday dinner, service was great đź‘Ť..food was absolutely fabulous..I got salmon and chips hubby got Sunday roast.. large size portion, highly recommend

Great atmosphere, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder. Pub was nice and spacious with TV etc. We had a reservation for dinner, unfortunately the food was less than… my lasagna that was a “special” was dry and over cooked. The salmon “special” was overcooked and lacked flavour, and the final meal was a chicken cesear salad that was drowning in dressing with over cooked rubbery chicken. At the end of the meal we all agreed we should have sent the food back, but being on vacation we didn’t want to deal with that.

Molly is such a sweet server!! She attended to all of my groups needs, ensuring we had a spacious table to watch the WC match, aswell as going above on beyond with my mothers coeliac allergens for food. Couldn’t recommend her superstar service more

Can't thank Dave & his team enough for their professionalism when hosting us for a small hen party. They were beyond accommodating and made the whole thing so easy. Would highly recommend for any event in the best setting

30/06/2026: Another delicious meal at the Whitford, family occasion, just 4 of us, we didn't book but luckily got a table, late Saturday afternoon, there were a number of large groups doing likewise so the staff were very busy but friendly and efficient as always. The sticky toffee pudding and the strawberry daiquiri were top notch, sadly no featherblade steak on the menu this time but enjoyed the double burger, my husband was very happy with his monkfish scampi, the others got sizzling prawns and blackened salmon, all very tasty and good size portions as always. Looking forward to our next visit.

31/03/2026: Delicious food made with fresh ingredients. The service was very friendly, and despite the large number of guests, the food arrived quickly. The coffee was outstanding.
