La Côte in Wexford

Not the best fish restaurant I've ever been to, but probably the best one you could find in Wexford. The portions are tasty and quite generous, and the prices are reasonable. I would pay more for half the portion of lemon sole in London. The service was friendly, and overall we spent a lovely evening there.

Food was disappointing following all the hype I had read online. Fish was def not fresh as it was curling and hard…it was also tasteless…starter was only ok and desert lacked imagination.

Absolutely fabulous experience in all respects. Irish people generally take pride in providing good, friendly, efficient service and that was fully demonstrated at La Cote. It is a small restaurant that provided us with a memorable evenings dining. Certainly a place not to be missed. Good food and excellent service. It is small (ish), so booking in advance is recommended but you will not be disappointed. Well done.

SAMANTHA is a fabulous server! We had the hake and sole dinners then a lemon and coconut dessert. A gem in Wexford for high quality local food in a quaint, boutique style restaurant.

Dropped in to use a last minute table for 2. Felt welcomed and food and wine were lovely and all for a reasonable price.

Visiting Wexford for first time and on our last night found La Cote restaurant. A real gem. Our type of food. This has given us a reason to come back to Wexford. Service was excellent.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 9.9/10 I had a brilliant experience! Every dish was absolutely perfect — beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and the service was excellent as well. The staff were very friendly, attentive and professional. It was actually my birthday, and the restaurant had no idea. Even without knowing, everything was absolutely perfect and made my evening really special. I’d honestly give it 9.9/10. The only 0.1% missing was that they didn’t light a candle for me 😂🕯️. Jokes aside, I was genuinely delighted with everything and had a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this restaurant! 👏🍽️

Such a lovely restaurant with a warm, cosy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive, and really made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and full of flavour. We had the goat's cheese and beetroot to start, followed by the hake and monkfish, and everything was fantastic. We would happily return and highly recommend La Côte.
