Dropped in here randomly. Had a lovely chat with Mary behind the bar and with some of the regulars. The traditional Irish pub lives! No TV, just people having a chat.

Catherine ( took over from her parents ) was behind the bar at Mary’s pub with her new 16 week old terrier / chihuahua mix. She checked with us before giving Honey access to the pub. There was a cosy fire going and some locals chatting. It was a relaxing couple of drinks. Catherine had time chat and share some stories. NO TELLY !!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

31/08/2026: At a table quiz recently Staff excellent as was the service. Unfortunately there were people smoking which is unacceptable. I enquired and apparently even though theres a roof overhead, it was considered an outdoor area. Still it was unacceptable in this day and age.
16/07/2026: Had a few Guinness in there- staff so polite n helpful
