Pros: The restaurant is excellent. Quality of food and ingredients is good, as is preparation and service. The creativity expressed in menu creation is appreciated. The host and staff in general were fantastic. Cons: Prices are high and portions are too small. At this price point you’d expect to know that all of their ingredients are actually organic, and do not include seed oils (canola/rapeseed/soybean/sunflower), or preservatives (especially nitrites and nitrates among others) (not just free range, etc). Steps should be taken to make this a top quality restaurant and healthy too - like cooking the French fries in beef tallow instead of oil. Details matter. Portions are simply way too small. There’s no reason why one should not be filled up from both an appetizer and entree - especially at this price point. 5 stars because we want this place to succeed and enjoyed a fantastic experience there, but we want to return and see improvement too.

Great restaurant with good service. Food extremely tasty. One of the best wine selections. Shop has the higher quality of wines cheeses and other edibles. Worth a visit in its own right. Has outdoor seating. Both are attached to an art gallery upstairs. Returned for lunch still as good as ever. The gallery is an amazing space for the exhibition of art and sculptures.

Amazing selection of wines. Finest German section I have ever seen in Ireland. Lots of special wines and some very reasonable ones from new areas. Very helpful owner.

Absolutely brilliant service and food..Jason couldn't have been more helpful from the off. Suggested what to order and it was exquisite. Highly recommend.

We had a delicious lunch of chicken caeser salad (€14) and baked goats cheese salad (€14).
