Greenacres in Wexford

First impression as we walked past it drew us in. Nice relaxed atmosphere, staff were lovely and food was excellent. Other customers around us all finished their meals with little or nothing left behind.

I would say that it has huge wine choices separate to the restaurant. Restaurant food was very average, service was good but wouldn't seek it out again.

My wife and I had a lovely lunch here. Great service, a really nicely done out restaurant and a really nice vibe. Try the Monkfish scampi!

Definitely an absolutely lovely place in Wexford town. I really loved their vegan options and herbal tea. The staff and atmosphere is amazing!

Pros: The restaurant is excellent. Quality of food and ingredients is good, as is preparation and service. The creativity expressed in menu creation is appreciated. The host and staff in general were fantastic. Cons: Prices are high and portions are too small. At this price point you’d expect to know that all of their ingredients are actually organic, and do not include seed oils (canola/rapeseed/soybean/sunflower), or preservatives (especially nitrites and nitrates among others) (not just free range, etc). Steps should be taken to make this a top quality restaurant and healthy too - like cooking the French fries in beef tallow instead of oil. Details matter. Portions are simply way too small. There’s no reason why one should not be filled up from both an appetizer and entree - especially at this price point. 5 stars because we want this place to succeed and enjoyed a fantastic experience there, but we want to return and see improvement too.
