17/11/2024: My daughter got sweet and sour chicken that’s was old and grey inside when she brought it back she was told that’s special recipe and she can get only half of money back Don’t recommend that place

06/12/2024: Best Traditional Fish and Chips! Sharky's is a gem! The staff are incredibly lovely, and the service is top-notch. The food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone craving quality fish and chips. 💯👌🍔🐟&🍟🤤

22/11/2024: Quality going downhill.. Cheese burger delivered with no cheese, fish literally dripping with grease and the food was cold. Shame, this used to be so good.

25/06/2024: DJ was no use. The guinness was very poor, there'd be never a ballad session on a Saturday night in here

07/11/2024: We were about to embark on our first Irish wedding experience and nipped into Gorey to grab something to line our stomachs. Joannes did not disappoint on that front the potato cakes hit the spot and the cakes were HUGE! We will be returning.

03/11/2024: Food is always delicious, but I was surprised to find that my sister had to pay 12.50 for a coffee and toastie , even tho it taste lovely it’s just a bit of bread with an egg in it (too expensive for gorey ) in my opinion.

13/12/2024: It amazes me how unreceptive the staff can be. 80 + percentile dubs - A continual market / even though some dubs can be hard work bro, yeah! Staff unaware completely. Oblivious to the fact it's hugely expensive OR possibly just untrained, it's hard to work out. No prosecco chilled. 10 minutes to get served at bar No floor service. 5 out of 6 finished eating. Before 6 meal arrives. Mind boggling. Dublin prices. Country service is the only way to describe this place Pick a side amber springs.

11/12/2024: I actually really liked the hotel, great atmosphere, very well presented and clean. The only reason for taking a star away is due to the poor service experienced in the bar when I arrived. I tried to order a drink for my workmate and I but none of the bar staff wanted to serve us. All the waiters were collecting drinks for tables which is of course is understandable but not even an acknowledgement that someone would have been with us as soon as possible was given. You were just expected to wait and hope for attention eventually. That been said, we were there for a party night and it was flawless. Overall it was terrific and it might sound harsh my description but if it was a customer who was just passing and decided to nip in for a pint and ended up having to wait ages to be served it would make them reconsider going again. I would deffo go again but hopefully the wait won't be as long.

10/12/2024: Nice coffee upstairs in Tesco Wexford. Plenty of parking downstairs and nice seating available. The quality of the coffee does depend on who makes it and staff get easily distracted so you can wait for awhile.

01/12/2024: I actually really like this place! Yes, it could do with a bit more cleaning. But I really like how airy and roomy it is, plenty of seating, large windows, ample parking, toilets literally around the corner. It's very handy and convenient. Food is nice, today I had their soup & bread, for €4, that's a great value and the soup was lovely! The coffee is nice too.

11/11/2024: Stay far away unless you want a good laugh.The place is a complete joke and a true black spot for wexford dining. It might look nice on the outside but as they say never judge a book by its cover.

02/11/2024: I have to say this is the worst treatment I have ever received any place in the whole world. I came on today alone at 11.50 and went to sit at a table when I was questioned by a man who I had at the time no idea was an employee, was I there for lunch. Although according to your website lunch does not start until 12.30 yet breakfast appears to end at 11.30??? I was not offered any alternative. After he handed me the lunch menu he asked the kitchen, the pass of which was right beside me, he still failed to tell me what it was, menu prices differed to those on website. I wonder was this do to the festival? Chicken Caesar salad €16 eas very bland. Cannot understand how a room full of wine has no Chablis for a customer, why when a table orders 2 pints of Carlsberg they must be delivered separately and that an establishment that portrays themselves as being professional gives that first pint to the man. No chrcking either any table within the first 5 minutes to ensure they have everything they need. Both this “big guy” & the I would assume manager or assistant manager as dressed differentlt deemed to be totally oblivious to the bell from the pass informing then of “service” eased at he till an unacceptable amount of time to pay and then during that time saw snacks & cakes available that I had not been made aware of on any menu. In fairness on my menu there were no beverages, desserts etc of any kind. I was also not made aware of any when my plate was taken. Last of alll how does an establishment which try’s to portray themselves as “above” the rest require customers to ask for a code to get to the bathroom!!!!
