Pot Belly Cafe in Wexford

Everyone should go here at least once. Food is excellent. It's a quaint permanent food truck experience for breakfast, lunch or just a snack. Coffee is very good, the breakfast in a bap fills a large man, I can verify, and the lunch bowls are very tasty. It's outdoors, loads of parking, and normally very busy. It's a must.

Food is excellent, but the owner/manager doesn't appear to care about the customers beyond their money. Online ordering is available through their website but only partly works. Order is submitted but feedback system (accepted, ready etc) isn't used properly. We waited for 20 mins after the requested time and was still showing not yet ready online. When I asked the kitchen "oh yeah that's been ready for ages, it's over here". When I mentioned to the owner/manager that the online system isn't clear/being used properly, he got angry and defensive, "you didn't tell me your name, I don't know you, you need to announce yourself to me when you get here, it's just common sense". When a business' first response is to blame you...

Love it, love it! Fresh, scrumptious food and cool Irish and South African East Coast vibes to match. Add some boerewors to the pot for S-tier status!

Can't recommend this place enough, amazing food, extremely nice staff, a really good ambience and the prices are soo good and economical. We tried the Peri Peri Chicken BAP, the breakfast BAP and the Chicken Burger and all 3 were amazing. We will definitely be going there again ❤️
