The food here is nice but the service is hit and miss. Sometimes you can get a decent server, other times you're lucky to get what you ordered. It is in a convenient location outside of the town.

Stopped here and had a pizza, which was excellent. Lovely and fresh. We were sitting out in an enclosed area at the back so cannot say much about athmosphere.

Holy Cross Pub

17/08/2026: It was towards the end of service and the food wasn't piping hot.
19/06/2026: Have been there multiple times. Have found the staff very friendly and efficient. Love the carvery. The chief is very friendly. Loads of parking and plenty of room for big busses.

McWilliam Park Hotel

30/06/2026: The hotel staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble to each and everyone of them,, the location was perfect right on the edge of town ,,the bedrooms were very comfortable and the decor was really nice attention to detail was excellent we will be back.
