19/09/2025: Flory was wonderful to deal with. We had asked specifically for two gluten free cakes, one in Belgian Chocolate Cream and the other in Lemon & Blueberry. Fresh and delicious ingredients, beautifully presented and ready on our big day. Thanks Flory!

The Old Deanery Cottages Ferns

23/07/2025: The Old Deanery is a fantastic venue for a group event and one I couldn’t recommend more! We had my sisters hen party there with 22 people who all had a great time. Bryanna was so helpful with everything from start to finish.
There are plenty of communal spaces to hold different activities and the cottages are very well equipped and clean, Bryanna also left milk, coffee, tea and biscuits in each cottage which was a lovely touch. A special shout out and thanks to Jack for helping out with our many drink requests!
The place is very picturesque and we were able to come down early to decorate. Plenty of fridge/freezer storage too.
Overall I highly recommend the Old Deanery for any group event!
21/07/2025: An amazing idyllic venue for any celebration, full of history! We had an amazing time here for my sister's hen party weekend. The owner Bryanna was so helpful from start to finish. Everything you could need is on site, the cottages were perfect and the barn which is decorated beautifully is ideal for activities and night time celebrations and music/karaoke. Only a 3 minute drive from Ferns village where we had a great meal in the Courtyard restaurant. We had the best time and would highly recommend for groups.

30/09/2025: Today we visited Wexford Coffée Roasters. Clean and tidy. Lots of visitors. Very cosy and atmospheric. Friendly owners who greet you with a smile. Definitely 10 stars. Highly recommended.
26/08/2025: Personally one of the best coffee shops around. The coffee is stunning to the point we buy it for our own machine. The food is exceptional and the staff are very welcoming and freindly. They also have a decent playlist to add to the atmosphere you can't beat good music and a decent coffee 👍

15/09/2025: Was here on a family visit from Galway. Saturday of last week had the chicken Ballantine and fondant potatoes the fondant potatoes were amazing couldn't fault them. There was a Brussel leak white sauce under the Ballantine never had anything like it before was gorgeous will return again. Serves and staff was amazing too 😃
14/09/2025: Fabulous location friendly staff but food let it down. Three of us had to send back our meals as they were like warm and fondant potatoes tasted as though reheated several times dry and nothing like any other we've tasted. The forth person in the party was left to eat their meal on their own and had virtually finished by the time ours arrived. Not the scenario one expects when going out to lunch with friends. Very disappointed that the staff did not address this.

28/08/2025: A small, charming Italian restaurant. The interior and decor are well-designed and create a pleasant atmosphere.
We had pizza, pasta, and steak.
It was cooked to perfection.
The pizza showed a lot of passion; the dough was light and crispy, and the toppings were just right.
The pasta tasted excellent.
They also seem to have a different dessert every day—highly recommended!

There is no parking and the pool is actually in the leisure centre - you need to buy your ticket ! Big disappointment , for sure I won’t come back !!!
02/10/2025: Staff 10/10 especially callum couldn't do enough as I'm a fussy eater.
Bed very comfy.
Only a small gripe shower curtain a bit grubby also toilet too low .
Food very good otherwise.
Entertainment excellent.

19/05/2025: Super good, one of the best places to eat on our trip.
The service was incredible, attentive, fast, friendly, and correct.
I also want to highlight the prices, better than in Dublin, with typical Irish food, both in quantity and quality.
The downstairs is a small supermarket with takeout, and upstairs is the restaurant, a cozy and charming place.
