Family run country pub, mixing old with new.A lovely cosy bar greets you on the way in full of character and family history. As you go into the back through the counter hatch another room with the stove lighting, couches around beautiful snug. Then down the hallway into the new and beautiful spacious lounge, with loads of seating with a retractable roof for those summer nights and of course another bar across the way Very friendly and lively customers, live music on the weekends the place is hopping and a credit to all envolved. Finally the Guinness, top class.Located just outside Enniscorthy, get yourself out there and see for yourself.

An absolute gem, this is a genuine country pub with a warm welcome and a real treat for anyone interested in old Ireland (without a plastic shamrock in sight)

Paidi O'Se

04/04/2024: We saw this pub and went in to see what it is about. Wow! Rugby fans would love this pub. We had drinks and apple tart. It was delicious. Scan through the photos and man! We come across a photo of our Rugby Director, Rassie Erasmus, were he tackled Paul Woods! This pub must see!

Lough Eske Castle

04/04/2024: We went on spa at Lough Eske yesterday and had the most amazing time. The grounds and entrance provide a grand yet peaceful location. The facilities were just beautiful for the spa and the staff were lovely. Treatments were delightful and Shea happily drove one of our guests with mobility issues to and from the castle. We then enjoyed lunch in the castle bar, to our delight. A wonderful experience and can't wait to return for a long weekend. Thanks to all at Lough Eske. They've earned every star! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
02/04/2024: Castle is a little hidden gem. Bigger than it looks and all kinds of rooms to plop yourselves in and admire the paintings and chandeliers or read a book. Also the food and drink menu were superb. We ate in the Gallery Lounge in front of the fireplace. Our room was in the stables overlooking the gardens. So cute and unique! A big shout out to the 2 concierges, Shea and Dylan! Both were so inviting and provided the history of castle. Both urged us to go explore Slieve League, the highest maritime cliffs in Ireland. We had a fantastic hike and are now enjoying our pints as a reward!
