08/27/2024 • Dinner for 4 people The food is medicocre, it looks better than it tastes, both main dishes and dessert. The soup of the day (in our case vegetable) is bland and inedible, the black bread that accompanies it dry and very hard, does not improve with butter. Regular 8oz Steak. Plate of nuggets with normal potatoes. Tagliatele with chicken and mushrooms was indescribable, the sauce was only half good, the pasta was overcooked, the chicken was dry, and the whole thing was really strange. The desserts look better than they taste, also quite tasteless, in our case we accompanied them with vanilla ice cream. Another thing is the place, a typical pub, but in this case dirty. We have been to enough to be able to compare. The dining room floor greasy and sticky, the chair gets stuck. In short, we do not recommend it. We stayed there because we had to spend the night before the ferry and the rest was already full.

Top-notch welcome and service, good and well-prepared food, ... A good address!

We had a lovely meal, and a few drinks, and the atmosphere was great.

Sunday lunch. Roast beef, Scampi. Both yummy. Pleasant atmosphere. Good service. I'll be back !!

Back again on our yearly visit while staying locally in our caravan. Once again, food excellent. We had the chicken curry & pan fried hake, both delicious. Thank you!We were here in June last year & once again, we were delighted with everything. The service is fantastic, the catch of the day & monster burger were delicious & very generous in size. Value for money. Bathroom spotless. Great pint of Guinness.

A very nice roast lunch good service in bar and restaurant

Great place to stop off! We had dinner as a family (3 and 7 years old) and everything was perfect: the kindness, the service, the price, the dishes, the children's menu and as a bonus the horse races!

Bar situado en una carretera de mucho paso de vehículos. Puedes tomar una cerveza viendo cualquier deporte en una de sus varias teles o comer algo. Lo mejor de todo la atención de sus camareros. La comida normal, incluso se puede mejorar un poco sus hamburguesas que solo salían con la carne y nada más. Acompañadas de patatas fritas y verduras. Recomendable.

we stopped at this lovely pub/restaurant prior to our Rosslare to Fishguard ferry crossing on 05/06/2024.. Our meals were wonderful [roast beef dinner]..the service was brilliant ,,we were made very welcome by the very friendly staff..We will definitely be calling in there in the future.. Yes we can recommend this ..everything
