The Dinky Takeaway in Courtown harbour

I came back because the fish and chips used to be really good 10/10, but unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill over time. The fish was okay, but not as good as last time, and the chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil.

Super busy but food was very hot and fresh and massive portions. We will definitely be back to try something else from the extensive menu

Best chipper in the south east, the battered fish gougons are exceptional. A huge 3 piece portion!! The regular burgers are great value and delicious. The battered sausags are fab. .I recommend everything 😊

I was the first customer today just as the fish and chip shop was opening. I was served by the owner and I told him I had been many times before and that his fish and chips are excellent every time that I come. We had a nice chat and he made me feel very welcome. The fish and chips were cooked to order as usual, and they were absolutely superb as always. I had fresh cod and chips and a fresh cod on it's own for my wife and myself and we share the chips between the two of us. The owner was so kind he actually split the chips for us and put them with each fish in two separate boxes for us without me even having to ask. What a lovely thoughtful man! I highly recommend this wonderful fish and chip shop, with excellent tasting fish and chips and the most kind and caring owner and staff that are so friendly and helpful. .

I called in earlier with my two young daughters, Ordered food but left my wallet at home. Asked to speak to the manager, Mark came out and was more than accommodating and advised to pay on my next visit. Seen my stress and threw in 2 drinks for the girls. You don’t meet people like this anymore. The food was amazing. Will definitely be back. Hopefully with my wallet.😂

Tasty burger but the chips were a bit under done and the batter on the cod was soggy and too thick. Shame
