Ferrycarrig Hotel in

Stunning hotel set on the river Slaney. Beautiful rooms with all the amenities you need, restaurant and bar is great and the food is amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We recently had our wedding at the Ferrycarrig Hotel and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Karen and all the Ferrycarrig team were fantastic. Every question we had in the lead-up to the wedding was answered so promptly, making the whole planning process much less stressful and allowing us to look forward to the day with complete confidence. On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly. Karen, Michael and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. The food was absolutely outstanding and deserves a special mention. From the drinks reception right through to the wedding meal, so many of our guests commented on how good the food was. Our guests had the most wonderful time and have spoken so highly of the venue, the atmosphere and the staff. The Ferrycarrig truly made our wedding day unforgettable, and we are so grateful to everyone who played a part in making it so special. We would highly recommend the Ferrycarrig Hotel to any couple planning their wedding. Thank you again for giving us memories we will cherish forever.

It was a very pleasant experience. The service, the room, the restaurant, the wellness center, and the facilities in general were excellent. We will definitely return.

It was our first time staying in the Ferrycarrig Hotel. We were reluctant as we knew there was a wedding on the evening we were staying but we were pleasantly surprised. We checked in at 6pm and only saw the bridal party lining up near reception to enter the Reception room which is located one side of the hotel (rooms are at the other). We had a drink in the Dry Dock Bar which had a really good gluten free menu. We could hear the wedding speeches when we walked outside near the waters edge. We had a dinner reservation at 7pm in Reeds. They had some great gluten free options and staff for so attentive and aware of allergens etc. The views from Reeds are beautiful. It was so relaxing to have a meal overlooking the Slaney Estaury. We watched rowers and small boats pass while we ate. We booked a Standard Plus room and were allocated room 411 which was on the corner. It was our anniversary and they even put a pillow on the bed which said "Happy Anniversary" and had some sweet treats in the room on arrival. We had a nice view of the water and playground. The room was spacious, had all mod cons as described on their website. The double bed was comfortable but it would have been nice to have a king size when staying in a hotel and the room could definitely fit it. TV had a Chromecast so you can stream whatever you like as well as having standard tv channels. We had a peaceful sleep and were not disturbed by the wedding band or members of that party during the night. Breakfast was a buffet but you could order from the kitchen also. Once again, amazing gluten free options. I ordered full Irish breakfast from the kitchen and got gluten free granola and bread from the designated gluten free area. They even had a separate toaster and scones too. The leisure facilities are exceptional. We used the gym and swimming pool. Rena at the wellness reception was so friendly and welcoming. The changing rooms were spacious and spotless. We were thrilled to get all of this as a bed, breakfast and dinner package for €319. We were so impressed with the Ferrycarrig and will definitely return again.

Thought they would have a river walk for guests but still peaceful, located on the banks of the Slainey Wexford. Convenient dining in the DRY DOCK bar. Tasty food. Mature experienced staff willing to accommodate for vegetarian choices.

Had a gorgeous lunch of fabulous chowder and fresh brown bread. Anna served us and was so lovely to us. Thank you. 5*
