Kehoe's Pub & Parlour in Kilmore quay

Nice atmosphere filled with plates of good food... definitely worth a visit.

A joy to be in. The Guinness is to die for

Location is great. Staff are very friendly and helpful and engage well with customers. The pub itself is very quaint and has a great beer garden. They also have live music at the weekend, which is brilliant and beer is very reasonably priced by comparison to other bars. Unfortunately, (for us), the food was not good. It was quite bland, overpriced, (€27 euro for scampi with overheated potatoes and cheap overcooked frozen veg - I'd expect fresh at the very least for the prices they charge). Same price for a trio of fish at €27, which was overcooked and served again with the same frozen veg and mash)! Chips were an added extra by personal choice, they were fine. We love Kilmore Quay and we're regular visitors. We always eat in Mary Barrys but decided to give Kehoes a go to try their seafood as there was a seafood festival on that weekend but unfortunately there's just no comparison. More or less like for like pricewise but definitely not like for like food quality wise, so we will continue to eat in Mary Barrys going forward. More than happy to recommend Kehoes for good drinks, friendly atmosphere and great craic though.

Delicious gastro pub with a lovely beer garden area to the back. If you’re a tourist passing through, I’d recommend booking unless you’re able to go earlier in the evening. We were able to sit out since the inside was fully booked and everything was delicious 😋

Beautiful pub with excellent choice of food, one of the most important aspects of this pub is the staff, absolutely fantastic bunch of boys and girls

An Irish pub just the way we like them. All wood, warm and inviting, friendly service. I tried the Kilmore Quay baked crab imperial with garlic bread: give it a go! And the starter is generous :)

Super good food and really friendly service, plenty of parking nearby . Great beer garden out back too.

Food, service atmosphere all second to none.

The seafood here was very very good. We were a big group and they were able to see us all we had four children and they all finished what they got!

Food good, can't understand why they turn people away saying tables are booked and no one showes for hours surely those tables could be given to walk in customers as there's a 10% service charge on the bill surely the staff would benefit from full tables 🤔. Owners should keep the the rear area for food and just have 2 seater tables and keep the front bar for drinks , tables are reserved for people that can seat 6 to 8 people and it's only a couple that take the table . Also people vaping in the pub shouldn't be allowed.
