Amazing cafe! Came here for the first time on a busy day with a long queue (for good reason!) and the staff were so friendly & kind it brought such a warm welcome!

Sat outside & had a really nice lunch/brunch. Food was delicious - the pastrami & brie toastie was a highlight. Staff were very attentive & friendly. Next time I'll save room for one of their lovely cakes.

Queueing for food and coffee, and pay before you sit Dining in and Takeaway order's are in the same Queue, very long queue. I noticed other diners going around the island and retrieve an table while a friend made their order, at the cashier desk. The girl at the register on the way in, "is that all your having",? ( I was on my own.) I ordered pancakes with maple syrup and a Latte total Bill was €16.60 I did find a table concrete seating with concrete table top. I understand why they have payment before you sit as they're possibly worried about customers leaving the premises without paying. However, the amount of servers on the floor, doing very little, there's no interaction with customers some delivered a croissant or a plate of food, to the tables around me. But I couldn't get over the lack of interactions, I've read other reviews and good ones, expressing how friendly the service was, I didn't find that, I found it as cold as the concrete seating and table top. I requested extra syrup and tapped water as the pancakes were very thick, dry and doughy, I had finished my Latte. Honestly I thought I was speaking double Dutch as the server served the table beside me and it was my opportunity to request! No interaction, other than when she returned to the table, "I'll take the coffee cup", is it lack of experience dealing with customers or is it just personality! Anyway, I didn't finish the pancakes as they were more like a plate of dry dough rubbery on the outside, not your typical pancake for any food premises, very like Aldi or Lidl pancakes heated, and served with syrup on the side! No preparation required, I knew they had to be packet pancakes as no good chef would cook these and present thems for service.

Absolutely amazing experience. All pastries we’ve ordered are heavenly. Banana bread was exquisite! Coconut matcha cloud was amazing. Not only do they have good food, they have very good and lovely people! Perfect all through out. Coming back again!!

We really enjoyed this for breakfast. The staff was delightful and the food was the best! Delicious and relatively fast considering how busy it was. We even tried the baked goods and they were really good as well. We will be pinning this place for a visit on or next trip!

Brunch and breakfast here is always 10/10. Service is fast and friendly. Order at the counter and it's delivered to your table in a speedy fashion. Coffee and cakes are to die for. Always worth a trip to thr Trough when in Wexford town. Seating indoors and outdoors facing the harbour.

Ordered the avocado and smoked salmon ( as per the menu). When my plate arrived it was poached salmon. Need to inform the customer if the dish changes. Also, there was a good sized bone in the fish which I did not see!!! However, as usual the staff were fab. I didn't wait around to hear what the kitchen said.
