You'll need to be a local or use GPS to find this pub/ resturant. Its worth it , spacious car park for easy parking. Resturant interior set out in old cottage style. Service efficent with menu to suit most tastes.

Absolutely gorgeous food,great service and very child friendly - One of Irelands let alone Wexfords hidden gems . It is a bit off the beaten track but well worth the effort, you will definitely go back time after time Theresa and her team are simply wonderful, and make everyone feel so welcome.

Really lovely place, food was lovely, service was great. Not many people there when we arrived(14:00) but started to fill up nicely. TV’s showing sport. Pool table and dart board (dart board has seen better days) available to use. Plenty of car parking. Had a great time.

Stopped for a lovely pint of Guinness with my dogs. It was such a lovely place, and with really friendly locals .I could sit inside the pub with my two dogs, always a rare treat. Will definitely be back

Smuggler’s Inn

08/06/2026: Excellent all round. Great staff and room/views and food.
05/06/2026: While travelling the Wild Atlantic way we stopped here to have one night of stay before our excursion to Skellig Michael. The hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful spots on the ring of Kerry. Direct access to the beach where we were able to make this picture at sunset. The food they serve is amazing. The best oysters I had to date! And wonderful staff. A destination on its own.

Keanes Oyster Bar

30/07/2026: Staying and dining at Michael & Bridie’s was a highlight of our Ireland tour. The bar stands where cycle route Eurovelo 1 follows 5km of the most dangerous road I have ridden in Ireland. We were relieved to reach it alive, stash our bikes in the shed and drop into the shower. My memory claims I have eaten better oysters: once, sitting with a friend and a bucket of lemons and two clasp knives in a dinghy in Broken Bay in Australia. Maybe.
